Henry Cavill has to be one of the most pointless actors of recent memory. He has been coasting on nothing forever.

Henry needs to make money while he’s still good looking because he’s a terrible actor and I can’t see him aging into character roles.

Witcher fans are blaming the show’s writers and producers for Henry’s departure, rather than the opportunity to do a Superman movie. They say the show has strayed too far from the source material.

Why do I feel that a fakeout is taking place? Cavill isn't leaving to return to Superman. Ten bucks he knows he's the next Bond, and he's clearing the decks for that role.

There's no guarantee he's going to lead a full on Superman sequel - appearances in other movies, sure. He could probably do The Witcher and Superman with careful scheduling. Not so if he's cast as Bond - that's a full time role, with little for anything else.

Clearly he benefits a lot from staying in the closet

Cavill much prefers to be the most well-known superhero ever, Superman, on the big screen rather than a lesser known hero on a streaming TV series. Hemsworth will be fine as the character. He's younger, and by some accounts, prettier

I actually like Liam Hemsworth and think he’s hotter than Chris.

But I don’t think this is the right role for him. Oddly, I could see him as a fun, sexy Bond. But not as gruff Gerald of Rivia.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen would have been a better replacement.

I didn't want to watch it at first but then I heard Liam Hemsworth will be cast so I started watching season 1.

Cavill is lucky that this all got signed, sealed, and delivered before Black Adam opened.

Black Adam has only made $262mm worldwide and was just banned from China. They estimate that it would take almost $600mm to breakeven.

It looks like Black Adam is going to be another failed attempt by DC/Warner to jumpstart a DC franchise.
