They have to start negotiations for a new contract within a certain week of the last 13-week cycle (or give the actor notice). .. Someone on another board said that he mentioned something about it in a livestream recently, but indicated he couldn't respond due to an NDA. If that's the case, then it sounds like negotiations could be ongoing, since the 'no comment' thing is always a standard contract line with Sony. (And besides opting for recurring status, I believe actors can still continue to work under limited extensions of the current contract, if negotiations are still ongoing and both parties agree.)

Zach's got three associates who've produced an independent film (which he has an acting role in). They've completed the film, and Zach's just been helping them raise the money (in an associate producer role) so they can complete some necessary post-production work. The team's Gofundme goal was $6500.

Helping young producers with crowdfunding and promoting the film is hardly scumbag behavior. The other parties involved were promoting the GFM as well. It's stupid to think Zach should put up the $6500 for this. It's also stupid to think that his fans are the only ones who contributed to the goal, which btw, the team accomplished fairly quickly.

They accomplished the fundraising because Tinker gay baited his gay fans.
