Everywhere in my metro area and everywhere I travel, the signs point to an overheated economy. Too few employees, strained supply chain, tons of consumers. How the fuck is this a recession?

R6, people don't know what "recession" means. They just think it means "economic trouble" (there is always "economic trouble") or "I wish I was doing better."
