Treasury secretary says she's not seeing signs of a recession in the US economy

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Thursday in an exclusive interview with CNN said she did not see signs of a recession in the near term as the US economy rebounded from six months of contraction.

Everywhere in my metro area and everywhere I travel, the signs point to an overheated economy. Too few employees, strained supply chain, tons of consumers. How the fuck is this a recession?

R6, people don't know what "recession" means. They just think it means "economic trouble" (there is always "economic trouble") or "I wish I was doing better."
