I question how true “My Friend Dahmer” really is, but despite the story of Jeffrey Dahmer and his friends being the focus of this film, Ross Lynch was a more effective and believable Jeffrey Dahmer than Evan Peters. He also looked more like him. Evan Peters looked and sounded nothing like Jeffrey.

I haven’t watched the current Dahmer production, but My Friend Dahmer almost made him seem cute but troubled.

R1 because it focused on his relationship with his friends. It’s based off the friends book, but like I said, I wonder how credible it truly is.

I'm personally familiar with many details of Dahmer's life during those years and My Friend Dahmer gets most of the details correct. Much more accurate than the flashbacks during the Netflix show.

Lynch and Peters were both good. Jeremy Renner, however, was a terrible Dahmer and looked nothing like him and the movie was just so bad.
