Legendary Movies You Never Saw - And Why?

Most of them. Never have been a cinephile.

The theater experience never had any appeal to me and certainly not now in the age of cell phones,

I've never seen "Dirty Dancing" because it never interested me.

But I've never seen "Star Wars" which is one I should probably force myself to watch one day.

I’m a major cinephile and I go out if my way to see freaking everything. Shockingly, I’ve never seen Gone With The Wind and I honestly don’t have much interest in seeing it, other than being as a completist.

Most Marvel/Superhero movies. The Dark Knight is one that stands out in particular that I should see, but probably never will.

I’ve never seen Valley of the Dolls or The Boys in the Band. I feel they’re bound to be better as abstractions.

I refuse to see Rocky because it beat Network for best picture.

Wow. I could have written R7, myself! From Here to Eternity, and I saw the first Star Wars in theater as a kid and I'd seen enough. Yadda, yadda, yadda do - Horskey borskey bleu to you...

I haven't seen any of the superhero nonsense of the last decade, but it really seems to run together, doesn't it?

Of course, none of that dreck qualifies as "legendary."

I watched about 15 minutes of most of them, but couldn't finish though. They were not compelling enough.

Jaws was not compelling enough?

Forest Gump. I don't like seeing actors portray retards.

Dances with Wolves. It won the oscar over Goodfellas so I will not watch it.

Top Gun. I've always hated that type of jingoistic jerk-off crap.

Most war movies and westerns. Too masculino.

There's also the problem of forgetting if you've watched an entire movie. I think I saw all of 2001: A Space Odyssey or maybe I've just seen parts of it.

I've never seen Top Gun, Pretty Woman, or Sister Act. And, those were in the era where I saw a lot of movies.

I've seen the first X Men and Black Panther, but other than those two, I've never watched any other Marvel movie in its entirety.

Did see the original Star Wars trio and the 1st one of the second trio but nothing after that. And, saw the first LOTR but none of the others.

Did see all the Harry Potters though so....I have my priorities.

I’ve never seen West Side Story , Valley of the Dolls , Casablancas , Schindler’s List , Citizen Kane , Singin’ in the Rain.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched Dirty Dancin’ the whole way through. I’ve also never seen Flashdance or Footloose.

I’ve also never seen Jerry Maguire.

Oh I have to say why…

Most of them I feel like were never on TV growing up as a kid and I don’t ever see them on streaming services either.

Citizen Kane (and many other "classic" movies - and I'm 53, just had no interest)

None of the later Star Wars sequels or prequels made after the first 3 original movies

There's more but i can't think of them right now. The usual reason is how hyped they were and I just became over-saturated w/all the hoopla around the movies.

You guys who have never seen Citizen Kane should see it. It's a good movie.

I saw recently that I enjoyed mildly. Just regular Netflix fare. But I can't remember any of them and nothing stayed with me.

I think I'll stop watching movies altogether.

I never saw any of the Friday The 13th, Halloween or Nightmare On Elm Street movies. I don't want to see gore, blood and guts all over the place. I only saw the first Star Wars movie...no desire to see the others. It was a meh to me...no interest in it.

"Debbie Does Dallas" for obvious reasons.

I encourage EVERYONE to see The Legend of Hell House...it's a hoot!

To Kill A Mockingbird, The Sting, Casablanca, Taxi Driver, Cleopatra w/Liz, all of the Star Wars follow-ups, The Harry Potter films, Summer Stock w/Judy.... just never got around to them. Yet. Oh, yes. I haven't seen BROS.
