“Terrifier 2” has grossed over $5 million on a $250k budget & limited release

This is why Hollywood loves slasher films, they can be made for VERY CHEAP and easily bring in profits. Even the Halloween movies are all made for mostly cheap.

This will probably be the future of Hollywood. Outside of Superhero movies, very low budget films not to risk losing money, as most films that aren’t superhero movies flop.

Has anyone watched it? Is it good? Some people say it’s good but too gory and gross.

Ugh, while it's not terrible I have to say it's a mega gross out movie with some really (and I'm not exaggerating) really disturbing scenes.

by Anonymousreply 1October 23, 2022 6:03 PM

I just watched the first one yesterday and it was a total bore after the first 15 minutes.

by Anonymousreply 2October 23, 2022 6:05 PM

I read this as a new slasher film called Terriers. I was concerned. But having gotten straightened out, I think I might go see this.

by Anonymousreply 3October 23, 2022 6:07 PM

R3 would that be a horror film about killer dogs, or dogs being killed by a psycho? Either way, both films would be disturbing

by Anonymousreply 4October 23, 2022 6:08 PM

R2- Agree, and I love gore and I love horror movies. The first one was terrible- on every level.

by Anonymousreply 5October 23, 2022 6:52 PM

Most slasher films give me a headache. I can’t lose myself because most of the choices the victims make are illogical. I’m not joking. I get a big headache.

Even some of the movies I love, like the original Halloween give me a headache at times because Laurie is so stupid. Every time she knocks Michael down, she stops to breathe and rest. Rewatch it. It drives me nuts. You either beat his head in while he’s down or you at least run out of the house and escape to get help. Nope. She always stops to rest.

The original Scream may be one of the few where the characters don’t all seem like complete fucking morons, minus Tatum trying to fit through that tiny dog door.

by Anonymousreply 6October 23, 2022 7:00 PM

I tried watching it. I love horror but Terrifier is really just about evisceration, I don't recall a plot.

by Anonymousreply 7October 23, 2022 7:09 PM

Sounds like SAW r7

by Anonymousreply 8October 23, 2022 7:11 PM

The first Terrifier was pretty scary. It’s doesn’t have a lot of substance but Art the Clown is scary as hell.

by Anonymousreply 9October 23, 2022 7:16 PM

I’m watching the first one now on Tubi.

The clown is scary.

by Anonymousreply 10October 23, 2022 9:33 PM

The word is "The Terrifier 2" is making people in the audience vomit and faint. I suppose that will make more people want to see it.

Art the Clown would be a very scary Halloween costume. I'm sure there will be a lot of Art the Clowns lurking about this Halloween.

by Anonymousreply 11October 23, 2022 10:09 PM

R11 because it’s so gory and violent. Some people can’t handle that.

by Anonymousreply 12October 23, 2022 10:11 PM

The director of this movie is super hot

by Anonymousreply 13October 23, 2022 10:22 PM

Umm, no he isn't.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 14October 23, 2022 11:15 PM

The director has Tweeted all the claims of people getting sick, fainting, leaving the theater were never meant to be part of the marketing for this movie. I kind of believe him to be honest. I think part of the hype over this movie was that it got picked up by some daytime talk shows discussing it.

All the other movies made prior to this featuring Art the Clown (All Hallows Eve, Terrifier) mostly stayed under the radar and didn't get much mention outside of die hard horror fans.

I was finally able to watch it this evening and it's a definite improvement over it's predecessors despite still only having a relatively limited budget. The overall production value has improved a lot, the casting was pretty good, and the special effects are fantastic if you're into gore and violent shit. If anything, I was a bit surprised this movie managed to get an R rating. It was also rather ballsy to have the main characters be young teens.

I thought it was much better than Halloween Ends, personally.

by Anonymousreply 15October 25, 2022 5:45 AM

OP are you a studio executive? Who the fuck cares how profitable a movie is. What a weird way to talk about art.

by Anonymousreply 16October 25, 2022 10:43 AM

Never heard of it and I won't see it. Sounds incredibly awful and boring.

by Anonymousreply 17October 25, 2022 10:45 AM

R16 this film isn’t art…. and why do you care? Just scroll by. We are adults here.

R15 all the other movies are straight to streaming.

by Anonymousreply 18October 25, 2022 11:34 AM

R18 you still haven't explained why anyone should care about how profitable a movie is. You may as well tell us about the lighting director's dental plan. All movies are art.

by Anonymousreply 19October 25, 2022 1:42 PM

After hearing about how people were supposedly fainting and vomiting at this movie I thought I'd better check this Art the Clown character out. I watched "All Hallows Eve" and "The Terrifier." The clown is a scary sight. But the movies were typical for slasher films: gory and repetitive. In both movies young women go to a public play; a gas station, a pizza place. In both places Art is lurking; he causes a disturbance and gets thrown out by the proprietor of the place. In both he goes into the men's room and smears his shit all over the place, writing his name in shit on the wall. Wanna guess what happens to the guy at the gas station and the pizza place after they forcibly eject Art from the premises? Maybe I'll see "Terrifier 2" just to see what the fuss was about. But my guess it that it will be a lot like "All Hallows Eve" and "The Terrifier."

by Anonymousreply 20October 25, 2022 11:41 PM

R20 there are two All Hollows Eve movies, and both were anthology films. All Hollows Eve is two kids telling the stories that feature Art the Clown. Terrifier is not told as an urban legend but it’s set in reality.

by Anonymousreply 21October 25, 2022 11:49 PM

Art the clown is scarier than any monster out there

by Anonymousreply 22October 25, 2022 11:53 PM

It's the bedroom scene that is apparently making people vomit. I'm generally a gore-hound but I had to ff thru most of the scene or watched it through my fingers. It was that fucking bad. I can see how it would make people physically ill.

by Anonymousreply 23October 26, 2022 12:29 AM

Gore == Horror

by Anonymousreply 24October 26, 2022 12:30 AM

If you can stomach the bedroom scene, the rest of the movie will be tolerable. All of the kills are pretty gory, but the bedroom scene involves some very brutal torture, which is pretty disturbing. I read a couple of interviews with David Howard Thornton, who plays Art the Clown, and he thinks that scene is the worst and most brutal (it is). Not much of a plot to the movie, but gore hounds rejoice!

by Anonymousreply 25October 27, 2022 2:35 PM

My #2 movie was far more terrifying

Michelle Pfeiffer

by Anonymousreply 26October 27, 2022 2:51 PM

Tarantino is either gnashing his teeth or fapping away.

by Anonymousreply 27October 27, 2022 2:52 PM

The first one was enjoyable. That clown is way more terrifying than it! It helps that the writer and director is also a makeup artist. He brought his vision to life.

by Anonymousreply 28October 27, 2022 2:55 PM

I'm a horror fanatic and have seen it all and the bedroom scene disturbed even me. It's FUCKED UP.

by Anonymousreply 29October 27, 2022 3:01 PM

New horror isn’t horror. It’s just gore.

by Anonymousreply 30October 27, 2022 3:11 PM

I don’t want to see truly horrifying gore.

I want to smell it.

by Anonymousreply 31October 27, 2022 3:14 PM

Actually, gore fell out of favor for a good 15 years after the backlash to the "torture porn" of the mid-aughts (Hostel, Cabin Fever, et al). This may bring it back.

by Anonymousreply 32October 27, 2022 3:15 PM

by Anonymousreply 37October 28, 2022 3:08 AM

Different actor for All Hallow's Eve and this guy for the two Terrifier films.

by Anonymousreply 38October 28, 2022 6:29 AM

Just watched All Hollows Eve and the story is nothing like the first Terrifier… what is that user talking about?

by Anonymousreply 39October 29, 2022 1:17 AM

Going to the 10pm showing. Can't wait to see it.

by Anonymousreply 40October 29, 2022 1:24 AM

by Anonymousreply 41October 29, 2022 1:37 AM

[quote] Just watched All Hollows Eve and the story is nothing like the first Terrifier… what is that user talking about?

Contains SPOILERS:

In All Hallows Eve, a young woman is alone at night driving, and gets lost. She stops at a gas station to ask directions and gas up. She sees...a clown. The gas station attendant comes out to help her. He's screaming at the clown; seems the clown used the restroom and smeared his shit all around in it, so the gas station guy is mad. He's talking to the girl and assumes the clown guy is gone but he hears a noise so he goes to investigate. He doesn't come back so the girl investigates. She finds the clown who has, in a space of a few minutes, managed to saw the gas station guy into pieces. Then the clown comes after her.

In "The Terrifier" two young girls have been partying it up and are both a little drunk. Before driving they figure they should get something to eat to help them sober up. They go to a pizza place and encounter...a clown. The owner of the place and his assistant are the only other ones there. The angry owner throws the clown out because the clown went in the restroom and smeared his shit everywhere. The girls leave. The assistant is working in back and calls for the owner to help him but he doesn't come. He goes to find him and encounters his head, which is somehow been carved into a jack o lantern. The clown then attacks him and cuts him to pieces. Then the clown comes after the girls.

The two scenarios sound pretty similar to me.

by Anonymousreply 42October 29, 2022 2:12 AM

Well, when you put it like that…

by Anonymousreply 43October 29, 2022 2:15 AM

No. They were not alike outside of basic details r42.

Also, All Hollows Eve has three segments. Not one movie.

The first segment features a young woman named Casey, who is drugged and kidnapped by Art the Clown while waiting for a train. She awakens to find herself chained in a room with two other women, Kristen and Sara. When Sara is dragged away by her chain, Casey and Kristen decide to follow where their chains lead. Upon reaching the end of the chains, Casey attempts to break the chains with a large rock but is interrupted by a deformed humanoid who dismembers Kristen with a cleaver. The humanoid unwittingly frees Casey by severing her chains with the cleaver, but she soon is tied down and surrounded by hooded figures. After watching the figures remove a fetus from the womb of a restrained pregnant woman, Casey is raped by Satan. After the segment ends, Sarah sends Tia and Timmy to bed and decides to continue watching the VHS tape by herself.

The second segment features Caroline, a woman who has just moved into a new countryside home. A bright object crashes near the house at night, and a power outage occurs. Caroline finds that her phone and car are malfunctioning and suspects that someone other than herself is in the house. She suddenly receives a call from her husband, John, a painter, but the connection soon breaks. She discovers that she is being stalked by an alien, and after managing to disorient it, she hides in a small room under a staircase. There, her phone rings again, alerting the alien to her location. As the alien drags her off, she pulls a sheet off of one of John's paintings, revealing an image of Art the Clown.

The third and final segment features a costume designer driving down an isolated road. Stopping at a gas station, she finds the attendant furiously kicking out Art, who had apparently smeared feces on the gas station's bathroom walls. The attendant fills her tank and hears a noise from inside the gas station while giving the costume designer directions. He goes inside to investigate, and when he does not return, the costume designer enters the building and sees Art chopping up the attendant's body with a hacksaw. She flees, and a chase ensues. Art eventually appears behind her seat in her car and attempts to suffocate her with cellophane. She slams on the brakes and escapes, barricading herself inside a large shed. Art digs his way into the shed and slashes her with a makeshift whip composed of sharp instruments. She stabs Art in the eye with a scalpel and in the back with a knife. She escapes again and is picked up by a man who tries to drive her to a nearby police station. Art follows them in a car and shoots the man in the head with a handgun, causing their car to crash into a tree. After some time, the costume designer regains consciousness on a crude operating table and finds that Art has amputated her limbs and breasts and carved misogynistic obscenities into her body.

Segment 3 is what is similar to Terrifier, but neither play out the same at all.

by Anonymousreply 44October 29, 2022 2:17 AM

Did they show Art the Clown’s dick in the first Terrifier film? He was nude but it was tough to make out.

by Anonymousreply 45October 29, 2022 2:21 AM

No. R45. And he had tits

by Anonymousreply 46October 29, 2022 2:25 AM

by Anonymousreply 51October 29, 2022 4:05 PM

Did a shill start this thread?R16 is right, who cares how much it made. Also, I doubt any movie is too gory for me, but yes, you made your point, we all have to watch the bedroom scene. This movie sounds gratuitous and torture porny and the clown shit has been done to death. Pearl and X weren't the best but I better they're better than this.

by Anonymousreply 52October 29, 2022 4:10 PM

Anything is better than a Ti West-directed film.

by Anonymousreply 53October 29, 2022 4:11 PM

Really R53? I am loving his films.. Hmm.

by Anonymousreply 54October 29, 2022 8:19 PM

You're certainly not the only one, R54. I just happen to think he's got zero talent and I've never seen a movie of his I haven't either been bored to death by or actively hated, and I remember the first film of his I ever saw- Trigger Man- which played at the LA Film Festival in 2007. I'd never heard of him before (and it was only his 2nd feature) and I walked out thinking I'd never hear of him again.

And the only reason I've see more of his films (a handful, but certainly not all of them) is because every time one of them comes out that gets that bullshit hype that so many horror films these days get about being a new horror classic, I say to myself, well, maybe this time. Nope. If nothing else, he's consistent.

by Anonymousreply 55October 29, 2022 10:58 PM

I don’t think I’ll ever watch this. I absolutely love horror films but I watched the first one with a friend and we turned it off when he started sawing the woman in half from the bottom up. That was just too much and crossed a line for me.

I am curious as to what happens in the “bedroom scene” though. Someone spoil it for me because I’ll never watch it. I think horror should have an element of fun to it. I don’t want to watch gross and fucked up stuff for the sake of being gross and fucked up.

by Anonymousreply 56October 29, 2022 11:44 PM

Wow, we have managed to go 56 comments without saying something like 'if you really want scary, go to a MAGA meeting', or something else about the GOP.

by Anonymousreply 57October 29, 2022 11:50 PM

R56 You asked. This looks to me like the American Psycho book where he tortured Bethany I think it was, and cut off her arms. So it's kinda been done already.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 58October 30, 2022 1:23 AM

I think Martyrs was the only good torture porn reason. The torture had a reason and a story to it. This is just for gratuity and to make people "puke and fain" which I still can't believe.

by Anonymousreply 59October 30, 2022 1:24 AM

The thing about the bedroom scene is that the movie has at this point made us like the girl who's getting brutally tortured. She's a friend of the lead, and she's totally nice and funny and sweet.

Art the Clown breaks into her house, chases her into her bedroom, and immediately slices her face straight down her eye. Then he scalps her with a small pair of scissors. Then he slices up her back and stabs her a bunch. He flays part of her back. Then he breaks her arm, twisting it around until he can rip it off her body. Then he tears her hand in half. Then he slashes her some more, we see blood flying around, we think he's done. He leaves.

Then we see she's not dead, she's crawling across the floor, an arm missing, her head scalped. Her cell is ringing, she is trying to answer it for help. Then suddenly Art pops back in with a bottle of bleach and a box of salt. He dumps them both into her wounds and rubs it in. Mashes it in. And then he tears half her face off.

We think it's done, we cut away to her mother coming home. It's just like the opening scene in Scream where the parents come home just a second too late to save Drew Barrymore. Her mother sees the house smashed up. She runs up to her daughter's bedroom. And Art is sitting on the bed carving up her daughter's corpse. Slicing little pieces off the legs. She's basically a pile of flesh. Everything is covered in blood. Art is laughing hysterically, covered in blood. The mother is screaming, just losing her mind frozen.

And then the body of the girl starts to move. She's not dead. The body is so mangled I think it's played by an animatronic body now? So it moves all jerky and looks all wrong. Half bloody skeleton, twitching. And the daughter manages to raspily gasp out, "Mommmm..." All while Art laughs hysterically.

It is a lot!

by Anonymousreply 60October 30, 2022 1:29 AM

It sounds like a bit too much.

by Anonymousreply 61October 30, 2022 1:33 AM

Yes I would say so. "Too much" is the point though. I have to say when he pops in the door with the salt it becomes so over the top that I got the comedy of it, even while still being horrified

by Anonymousreply 62October 30, 2022 1:39 AM

That doesn’t sound horrifying to me. That sounds like it would make my eyes roll and I would look down because there’s no need for such graphic violence.

by Anonymousreply 63October 30, 2022 1:57 AM

He chases her around the house, leading to the bedroom – and this is the start of her inevitable demise. Art begins by scalping her as blood gushes down her face. He then twists her arm and rips it out of her body, then chops her breasts off. What makes this an uncomfortable watch is that you hear Allie’s agonizing screams throughout the entire scene, and you feel exactly what she’s going through. The scene continues with Art proceeding to break the bones of her legs and crush her feet, then seemingly leaves the room.

by Anonymousreply 64October 30, 2022 2:04 AM

With the brief moment alone that she has, Allie tries her best to crawl over to her dresser to grab her phone to call for help. The scene makes you really root for her, and she’s merely fingertips away from her phone before Art barges into the room once more. This time, however, he pours a generous amount of salt onto his hands and rubs it into the bleeding, exposed flesh of Allie. And he doesn’t stop there, either. He proceeds to pour some bleach on her. Later that night, Allie’s mother comes home, only to find her precious daughter skinned, mutilated, and displayed on the bed like an exhibition piece by Art the Clown.

by Anonymousreply 65October 30, 2022 2:04 AM

Why are you posting what happens again?

by Anonymousreply 66October 30, 2022 2:09 AM

Today’s society craves this. It’s where we are. Dami hits a bullseye. Go see it and make up your own mind.

by Anonymousreply 67October 30, 2022 3:04 AM

It does sound a lot like Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho book, shocked he didn't put a hungry rat up her twat.

by Anonymousreply 68October 30, 2022 4:00 AM

I rewatched All Hallows’ Eve and the cute guy is a much better Art the clown

by Anonymousreply 69October 30, 2022 4:45 AM

Gore at the colosseum before the collapse of the empire.

by Anonymousreply 70October 30, 2022 7:27 PM

I saw all three of these Art the Clown movies: "All Hallows Eve", "The Terrifier" and "The Terrifier 2." They're all ok, if you're into this kind of horror movie. The gore is plentiful but cartoonish.

by Anonymousreply 71October 30, 2022 9:43 PM

Could it be musicalized for Broadway?

by Anonymousreply 72October 30, 2022 9:48 PM

I love horror films and prefer the gorier ones.

This was so over the top that it borders on a comedy.

The acting was far better in this one than the last, I liked the main girl, the bedroom scene is one for the record books. I I thought the creative use of the "trick or treat" bowl right after with the mother was really creative and funny.

The movie was way overlong, and by the 90 minute mark I really had seen enough. It became repetitive because there is no psychological or dramatic arc to the entire thing.

6/10.

by Anonymousreply 73October 30, 2022 9:51 PM

none of what r42 and r44 describe seems like anything worth making or watching. I'll never get the appeal of this kind of movie, but obviously they do make money, and are of course cheap to make cause pretty much no thought or effort goes into them.

by Anonymousreply 74October 30, 2022 9:53 PM

There are two All Hallows’ Eve movies. Not one.

by Anonymousreply 75October 30, 2022 10:24 PM

R74 I don’t think “thought” is what costs movies a lot to make.

Horror films have always been known to be cheap to make. Look at the original Halloween

by Anonymousreply 76October 30, 2022 10:26 PM

Both one and two were still better than any of the Marvel crap.

Felissa Rose, from “Sleepaway Camp” has a cameo in this.

I love the 80s slasher vibe to this and the casting, with the exception of the brother, was stellar. Even the actresses remind me of the ones who would be cast back in the 90s. They don’t look like prepubescent kids. The score is great too.

I started watching it on Screambox but turned it off when Art started killing people with a machine gun in the clown cafe. Art does have a cute butt though.

Yeah, I saw it. The girl with the mutilated face gave birth to his HEAD. A head. How is a head going to hack up and torture future victims? My guess is that Terrifier 3 will ignore the nonsensical ending of T2 and show Art in all his creepy clown glory, head and body intact. No need for an explanation. I suppose he just grew a new body. That's really stupid.

by Anonymousreply 96October 31, 2022 11:45 PM

Anyway, I heard T3 is going to include a backstory telling the viewer more about Art and his past. Maybe he's some kind space being that was dropped on the earth (like Pennywise) and is some kind of indestructible killing machine. At any rate, these movies are turning out to be nothing more than repetitive torture porn.

I don't mind the Terrifiers, they're not trying too hard - we've gone through a cycle of horror movies taking themselves incredibly seriously and I think people just need to let their ids run wild for a bit. I love serious artful horror movies don't get me wrong, but there's room for all types and these things are cyclical. The person who said "these movies take no effort" is way off base -- the skill put into all that gore is real, you can't just pop a tomato open and call it an exploding head. I love seeing practical (non-CG) gore, seeing what those technicians can come up with, how they one-up each other. And it really is a skill, editing such sequences into a rhythm that is convincing, funny, creepy. These are not artless (pun not intended)

Where is my barf bag?

by Anonymousreply 100November 1, 2022 3:24 AM

Finally something great So sick of this slow burn horror shit

by Anonymousreply 101November 1, 2022 3:45 AM

R101- Its NOT that. You have to see this for the bedroom scene alone. And the actors were quite likable.

by Anonymousreply 102November 2, 2022 12:25 AM

The bedroom scene sounds ridiculous dude. Nothing to see.

by Anonymousreply 103November 2, 2022 12:30 AM

[quote] I’m watching the first one now on Tubi.

Is it five minutes long?

by Anonymousreply 104November 2, 2022 12:43 AM

What is really ridiculous about these movies is that the victims live way, way longer than anyone would with those kind of traumatic injuries. They're sliced and diced, their heads caved in, ;they've lost blood in rivers and they're STILL jerking around and screaming and moaning. It's silly. Gory, but silly.

by Anonymousreply 105November 2, 2022 12:47 AM

[quote] Gore at the colosseum before the collapse of the empire.

Tell us what those colosseum games were like, eldergay.

by Anonymousreply 106November 2, 2022 12:51 AM

OP How is this “the future?” Horror movies have been making a bundle with low budgets for 90 years.

by Anonymousreply 107November 2, 2022 2:37 AM

Liked Terrifier 1 better. Terrifier 2 was ridiculously long, boring for long stretches, repetitive, and devolved into sci-fi supernatural shit at the end.

That said, "Jeff" was a hottie.

by Anonymousreply 108November 2, 2022 11:35 AM

I've seen it, it's definitely super-gory, violent and fucking gross - like some have said, it's too long (2h20m I think -the first one was like 80m) and they try to throw in some weird mythology into it which for me doesn't really work at all.

There's a mid-credits scene, well actually a whole sequence, that is super gross and super dumb.

The 'bedroom scene' as has already been covered extensively is arguably the most extreme killing. Definitely WTF-levels of torture-porn. I read an article recently, not about this film specifically but extreme horror and how it can actually help build mental resilience for people and it used the covid pandemic as an example, people who were horror fans actually coped mentally with it better than people who haven't been 'exposed' to such content which I thought was an interesting concept.

by Anonymousreply 109November 2, 2022 4:02 PM

R190 - 'build mental resilience" ... yes, that works the other way, too, so people won't mind so much when we start killing Jews and fag's by the millions.

by Anonymousreply 110November 4, 2022 4:42 PM

^ fags, before some fucking genius corrects it.

by Anonymousreply 111November 4, 2022 4:43 PM

R110 - Oh honey, compared to you EVERYONE is a fucking genius.

by Anonymousreply 112November 5, 2022 8:49 AM

R112, right? I was wondering where post 190 was. R109 makes a good point, I actually said that years ago about Dexter, like they were trying to get us used to and okay with the killing of people deemed "bad" guys. If we cheer for someone who murders people, we'll be okay with carpet bombing entire lands of bad guys.

by Anonymousreply 113November 6, 2022 3:22 PM

Also, the last 1/4 of this film was a derivative bore. It pretty much goes downhill after the mashed potato scene. The acid part is decent, but the rest is boring.

by Anonymousreply 114November 6, 2022 3:24 PM

How are they going to resurrect Art? The ending was over the top weirdness and didn't make sense.

by Anonymousreply 115November 6, 2022 9:14 PM

If Art can do all those metaphysical things in the movie, I’m sure his head can sprout a new body

by Anonymousreply 116November 6, 2022 9:26 PM

This movie sure is getting a lot of online publicity, so much that actually watching it would be redundant. How much of its small budget is being spent on PR?Most of it?

by Anonymousreply 117November 6, 2022 10:14 PM

I think it's actually an honest-to-goodness word-of-mouth thing

by Anonymousreply 118November 6, 2022 10:36 PM

After reading the description of the bedroom scene in this one and the "saw the girl in half vertically starting at her vagina" scene from the first one, I really wonder how fucked up you have to be to enjoy watching this stuff.

by Anonymousreply 119November 6, 2022 10:37 PM

Yes. I’ve never even seen a commercial or ad for this movie. It’s all about word of mouth.

by Anonymousreply 120November 6, 2022 10:42 PM

My local suburban theaters went from one late night show when the stories of vomiting and fainting appeared, and now they have a full daily schedule

by Anonymousreply 121November 6, 2022 11:33 PM

Wait what R119? That's fucking BEE shit, that's from American Psycho, the book. Yeah, this dude sucks. Also, the whole fucking cut his head off and he's fine thing is stupid and a cop out, it's like Stephen King's new and stupid crap where things can be explained away by aliens or some ridiculous paranormal stuff.

by Anonymousreply 122November 7, 2022 12:26 AM

From the ending of Terrifier 2, I learned one thing: Vicky gives good head.

by Anonymousreply 123November 7, 2022 11:38 AM

It will be streaming soon

by Anonymousreply 124November 8, 2022 12:53 AM

It's on Tubi, my friend is trying to get me to watch it.

by Anonymousreply 125November 8, 2022 3:23 AM

^ Unedited??? The Terrifier movies make Rob Zombie look like Walt Disney.

by Anonymousreply 126November 8, 2022 11:46 AM

R126 yes it seems the movies are shown unedited (with commercial breaks) on Tubi. I started the firsr Terrifier on tubi and bailed when it got too graphic for me. I don’t get the appeal of watching screaming women being butchered.

by Anonymousreply 127November 8, 2022 12:34 PM

Yeah Tubi is uncensored, just with commercial breaks. "All that Jazz" is on Tubi now so I think I'll just watch that instead.

by Anonymousreply 128November 8, 2022 2:39 PM

Tubi has a lot of 80s B horror I love watching.

by Anonymousreply 129November 8, 2022 8:41 PM

I liked the first one as a trashy halloween movie to watch, but didn't like the second. The first quarter was okay but then it got very boring.

SPOILER BELOW *******

I hated the whole "magic sword" BS and the boring backstory about the kids. You watch a movie like Terrifier for gore and scares, not for some stupid fantasy movie. The first worked because the storyline was so basic.

by Anonymousreply 130November 8, 2022 11:00 PM

The director looks like he might be ripped.

by Anonymousreply 131November 8, 2022 11:02 PM

Director (Damien Leone) is pretty hot

by Anonymousreply 132November 9, 2022 2:46 AM

Anyone going to Monster Mania this weekend in Philly? They'll all be there.

I hope Art isn't in costume cause the actor is too cute to not show his face.

by Anonymousreply 133November 9, 2022 2:54 AM

ISn't that how we all stopped being scared of Freddy Kreuger R133? That Englund showed his odd, dorky face and then no one could take that movie seriously anymore? They should not do that.

by Anonymousreply 134November 9, 2022 2:39 PM

He'll do a personalized video for $50
