It was at one point going to be a movie years ago r1 with Johnny Depp and Amitabh Bachchan.

I started liking Charlie Hunnam as "the trick who never wanted to leave" in the UK Queer As Folk.

And never stopped, ever since.

The people behind this project know where their bread is buttered.

He's never been the greatest actor, but in this it's like he's never even heard an Australian accent before and has been asked to imagine one.

I loved the book. I am off to India tomorrow so it would be a good time to watch the series.

Always thought it was a shame that the King Arthur franchise Guy Ritchie tried to do with Charlie never took off.

Yes, it was on the pointless and overcooked side, in that cliched annoying "let's make this mythical allegorical epic into a straightforward semi-contempo macho Acktshun Movie!" way, but undeniably funny, scrappy, and bit sexy as well. And as a bonus, it meant Charlie got to reconnect and spend time with Aiden Gillen again. Pity we didn't get another instalment or two.

Geordie + Cali is a horrific accent mix. Sounds like an aural car crash. RIP being able to watch Hunnam off mute.

Mackem is the sexy Northeast accent. Less Byker Grove, more Premier League.
