Jessica Chastain is pretty vanilla and an outspoken progressive/feminist, but she does take on some edgy roles from time to time. She even developed a project with Matthew Newton - a man who used his privilege to avoid prison for beating up his girlfriends. He even had the incidents erased from his record to get a VISA and work in the US.

Some people just assume that she was unaware of his record, but it's virtually impossible if you understand how the industry works., I can believe Jessica herself is that incompetent, but not every single person around her.

Who knows what sob story gave her? He might have said he was diddled by his dad and that his mother stood by and let it happen.

It would be more interesting if it was a sequel about two other rich, feuding women who learn a thing or two from Mad and Hell. A bit of a cautionary tale perhaps about what can happen if you take the potion without thinking about all the consequences. Are we even at the year where the original film's ending took place yet? It might be funny to see what happened during those years.

Good idea. Jada Pinkett Smith can play one of the leads. Though she'll have too look into the cosmetic procedure industry to gain some knowledge of it.

Nobody likes watching a bunch of millennial and Gen Z girls act all stilted and get giggly as they shit-act through classic remakes. They’re just not convincing. The reality of life is most people stare at their phones all day, that doesn’t translate to film. People think on a macro level now and the big answer to “would I want to live forever?” is a resounding “No!”
