Disappointing, if true, because he has been great. This is one where I'd be curious about the breakdown. Too big of a guarantee? Too much per episode? Contract vs. recurring? DAYS had to let Lani and Eli go because they wouldn't sign contracts, which makes it difficult to write long stories.

I thought Zach had great chemistry with Billy Flynn.

Zach only joined Days with Beyond Salem I which came out July 2021. Show signed him to contract shortly after that and Sonny returned to town full time.

But the point is, Zach only signed a contract to be on the main show a year ago. Is Days doing one-year contracts now?

I honestly liked Freddie the first few years. He connected, he and Chandler were hot, he worked well with the cast....but then he got creepy and weirdly empty and fake. The weight gain was unfortunate but not a big deal. It was his....cultish vibe. Like he was dead behind the eyes but still smiling.

I thought Tinker was a huge improvement on Freddie. At this rate Days is going to end up like Eastenders, I think there have been 6 different actors who have portrayed Ben Mitchell at this point.

Zach's began being listed with the recurring actors on Days since episodes that began airing in late December; so with the long delay between filming and streaming that would indicate the change in his contract status occurred several months prior to that.
