First of all, it's perfectly natural for adults to be attracted to young people in their sexual prime. I believe that age 17 is considered the age of absolute sexual prime for a male, and I believe it's even a year or two younger for a female. As others have pointed out, at certain times in the past and in certain cultures, it was common practice for females to get married (and begin having sex) at a very early age. r516, first off, hobby forums are not the same as a night out with the guys and some beers. Hobby forums are focused on one topic and are usually heavily moderated. Military forums are certainly not going to be allowed to be porn fests. But you will hear porn talk sometimes in casual conversations with straight men.

DL is a forum for gay men. The topics can be anything. But what unites gay men is that we are sexually attracted to other men, so of course you are going to get sex and porn talk here. And we are not put off by the possibility that something we post may turn on someone else. If they blow their loads at what we post, more power to them.

Gay men are way more honest about their sex lives. Gays are more honest about their porn watching. ( We are also better than straights in other ways, but I digress.. )

Okay R460, could you provide more details on this. Did this happen in the USA, if so which state? Was the kid male or female? Was the adult upper middle-class, wealthy or in a position of power? What was the race/ethnicity of the adult involved? What did the kid do previously to receive that harsh admonishment from the judge? I'm not doubting the story, I'm just trying to understand a scenario where an adult avoids charges for having sexual encounter with a minor child well below the age of consent. Thanks.

What IF you look for I.D. and its a fake I.D. I know 15 year olds who look 20. And as for girls; they age up hugely with makeup and clothes. So yeah, the very unromantic idea of showing your I.D is not fool proof. I guess its just safer to err on the side of caution and make sure they look and are well over 21. It may be alot of legal, but young looking, lads wont get laid.
