I am no fan of Ripa, but Kahy Lee Gifford is a consummate "entertainer". She tells it in a way to accomplish her own personal goal. She's apparently too thick to realize that just because someone was nice to her doesn't automatically mean that person is going to be the same way toward someone else. Frankly, I think it's entirely possible Regis saw Ripa for a fraud from the get go. He probably had intel from others in the industry before she even came on the set that first day.

And besides, I've never found Kathy Lee particularly trustworthy. I think she'd lie in a heartbeat if she thought it would get her some attention.

Regis was and is well respected throughout the industry, his only major issue his entire career was with Ripa. Kelly Ripa is not even well liked. She is the issue.

I was a goofy kid from the middle of nowhere, who moved to the BIG CITY, and he was always kind to me when I worked with him. He encouraged me to follow my dreams. He always had great stories. I'm not sure if I believe in "vibes" but he always gave off great vibes.

I know that just because he was nice to YOU doesn't equal him being nice to EVERYONE but my story isn't unique so perhaps Kelly was the problem.

In the past week, I was walking by my relative's tv & they were watching Kathy on a right-wing channel (Fox I believe but I'm not 100% sure) & she was talking about contacting Franklin Graham & getting him involved in a public matter. I was taken aback by her association with him & his anti-LGBT rhetoric as I thought she had distanced herself from those types but I was clearly mistaken. Team Ripa all the way.

We can only speak to our own personal experiences. I was in the audience one say at Regis & Kathie Lee. During commercial breaks, Kathie Lee left the stage and spoke to no one. Regis interacted with the audience and took pictures, signed autographs. I was also in the audience for Regis & Kelly. Kelly interacted with the audience during commercial breaks. She asked people their names and where they were from. Very nice to the audience.

I've watched the show with Ryan on about 3 times and each time Kelly just talks over him. I've never seen anything like that. He'll be talking about one thing and she'll talk about something else (while he's still talking). It's so bizarre

She goes out there, puts on her very obvious fake persona and spits out some bullshit lines some writers wrote for her. She wants everyone to think she has such a wacky life

I used to watch Regis and Kathy Lee's "host chat" every morning in the late 80s /90s while getting ready to go to work. It was a fun way to start my day, for the most part. If there was a particular guest I wanted to see, I'd hit the 'record' button on my VCR back then, and watch the rest of the show when I got home that evening. The year KLG left and Regis was solo, trying out new cohosts, I still enjoyed it. It was entertaining to have a new cohost each week. (I think some of his best matches were Joan Rivers and his wife Joy).

Then Kelly came on board - I gave the new couple about three months and then tuned out. There was no chemistry between the two no matter how they tried to force it. She was just awful to watch - an attention whore from the get-go. How he lasted 10 years with her is beyond me, but it says a lot about him: trying to make the show work and not giving up. I did watch his last show and then did tune into Strahan for a few weeks - again, there was no chemistry. I have yet to watch an episode with her and Ryan.
