She had a great, odd career, love her specially in her Italian period and her cold vibe, which from this interview she actually cultivates. To think the anodine Brie Larson won an oscar over her…any fans here?
Yes, big fan, thought she was the best thing about Dune and I wish the whole movie revolved around her. Gravitas coming out of her ass, impossible to look away when she's on screen.

Rocky: Bullwinkle, do you like Charlotte Rampling?
Bullwinkle: Gee, Rock, I don't know, I've never seen her rample.

Just watched a very young Rampling last night in the early 70s British horror anthology "Asylum," paired with the wonderful Britt Eckland for her segment. Wonderful performance; Britt's bubbly behavior against Charlotte's icy, feline reservedness was a striking contrast. She was astoundingly beautiful.

"Had"? She hasn't retired, has she?
I like her very much. She was very moving in Sous le sable (Under the Sand). I can't believe that was 22 years ago.

Anodyne. I have always liked Charlotte. She was beautiful, eccentric, and happy to take her clothes off. She is very intelligent and willing to share the details of her bohemian lifestyle. She has been a working actress for 60 years and currently starring in Dune.
