I've never been there, but have always wanted to go. I really like history, and it seems like it'd be very interesting.

Now he’s on a sponsored vacation to Aruba.

Bryan bubala you wouldn’t need to do this if you took some acting jobs!

It's basically Disneyland with a historic gloss. The Rockefellers wrote a big check, and they created the thing out of a few restored buildings and some that were basically fabricated out of whole cloth.

Williamsburg is beautiful! I know that winery — actually there are a couple nice wineries in that area.

I had family in Williamsburg for years but that’s all done now and I wish I appreciated it while they lived there; I kind of dreaded the yearly cross country trip but now that I am older I appreciate how great that area is.

There are now wineries in Virginia? Are there any places that don’t have wineries anymore?

by Anonymousreply 7October 17, 2022 12:29 AM

There have been wineries in Virginia back to colonial times. Thomas Jefferson had a vineyard at Monticello.
