In other words, it's not Scooby Doo. It's something completely different that has been shoehorned into a previously proven work and they've stolen the name that will make them money.

What’s the point of this? As R9 says, Scooby Doo is a very specific known IP. This is an entirely different vision that has nothing to do with that IP. Why not just create something original? It seems like the main point is to make different choices that run afoul of the canon and then accuse others of being racist or childish or whatever when they question or criticize it. Exhausting.

I wish they would have made Velma a trans woman lesbian. There are a few people I think are pretty close to stroking out over these changes. I'd like to see them get their wish. 🤗

R21 in fairness, I never did quite understand what a talking Great Dane really had to do with groovy kids solving paranormal mysteries.

Like why is he there? What is his function? Why does he talk? Why does he need to go on these jaunts every time? How does this one dog bring all these disparate people together? And why does no-one else outside the gang seem to realise or acknowledge that he talks?

Looks like a total shit fest.
