The milk jug luminaries look good. Cute, cheap and easy. Cut back out, decorate multiple jugs with different faces. Weight them with soil or sand, and string lights or tea lights. Voile.

My neighbor is afraid of bugs, so she faced her fears this year, buying a large faux spider for her window. Her place already has real spider webs on the outside, but I didn't want to ruin her fun.

Will bad Sandy costumes be popular this year? Even cute in munchkin size. They want a hundred bucks for this toddler costume. Frightful.

Just put out a bucket of candy unless you have negro teenagers coming by because they'll take the whole thing.

r37 I could plague other threads but people are so obtuse, so better to attempt to recharge the synapses of dottering elders here..
Anyone happen to remember an ancient couple from WeHo & Palm Springs tht always made elaborate costumes purely out of cellophane? I doubt any of these elders could pull off anything near... even surrounded by tech, they're as useless as the younger generations are.
r41 Well, there is skulls unlimited among a few other shops... any casting would have needed to be done months ago as unfortunately most of the large prop makers are often quite far from where one lives. I Suppose there's etsy but that's hit or miss.
But in this day and age, I suppose people don't really need to bother as they have filters... just as the film industry relies far too much on shitty cgi. Just the signs of the end of times and the decay of society.. like the low effort bigoted troll at r42

I don’t have a picture but I made some femurs for a zombie party out of pie crust dough with chocolate chips rolled up inside for the marrow. You bake them at 350 just until they’re crusty but not brown.
