^^ No. The father admitted leaving anonymous letters with some of his neighbors much later on (because of their accusations that it was a hoax, etc.), not the ones sent from “The Watcher”.

It wasn't meant to be a cut on Mia. I love that movie. It's one of my very favorite movies. I just bought it yesterday on Amazon Prime as a matter of fact and watched it for like the thousandth time. I also have it on dvd. She is great in it and I love her in it but it's hard to ignore Cassavetes when he's on screen. I find him so attractive. I just watched this yesterday along with it. Very good analysis of the movie.

Interesting, watching the preview I clocked it as New Jersey, possibly Montclair where I once lived, but in actuality it was filmed in Rye, but is standing in for Westfield, New Jersey.

Mia is so wan and reedy. She had a 15 year prime which is more than most humans can hope for. With the sole exception of A Midsummer Night Sex Comedy her appearances in Woody Allen movies would have been vastly improved with any other decent contemporary actress.

I remember the original story. I think the NYT covered it.

Such terrific acting. Murphy’s mistake here was ending their story line so early.

So I adore Jennifer Coolidge. She’s a treasure, without question.
