Why didn't the White Squall cast have bigger careers?

Lovely twinks Ryan Philippe and Balthazar Getty were both somewhat successful.

They should have all survived to do "White Squall Boys Gone Wild!"

They wound up modeling for Fruit-Of-The-Loom

This was my go-to movie for so many years. My husband still laughs at me about it. So laugh.

Because it was a flop?

As a young 12 year old when this came out I loved it for all the hot twinky sailors going around shirtless and in their tighty whiteys. Story was rubbish though.

Wasn't this the movie that Jennifery Grey had her nose job during some break and the continuity was all over the place?

It's like how "Toy Soldiers" was only worth watching for the one "guys in undies" scene.

Toy Soldiers was actually a decent movie. Better than White Squall. Sean Astin shows ass, back when it was worth looking at.

Huge bomb. Movies on the water are expensive. Ridley Scott directed and it was a big studio movie. Made about $4 mil opening weekend and less than $15 mil total.

Scott Wolf and Jeremy Sisto have had very nice careers.

I preferred watching young Ben Affleck on Voyage of the Mimi.
