Sandra Oh at the Queen's Funeral

Oh was she?

I thought this was a joke but it is her.

Oh, 51, was part of the Canadian delegation and could be seen wearing a pin representing the colors of the country.

Last year, Oh was awarded the Order of Canada for her "artistic career filled with memorable stage, television and film roles in Canada and abroad."

Other members of the Canadian group included included Olympic swimming champion Mark Tewksbury, musician Gregory Charles and Governor-General Mary Simon, who awarded Oh her Order of Canada.

Sandra was the only actress to be at the funeral

Considering all the famous actors in the UK, not a single one of them was invited!

She was in one of the last few acting gigs of Anne He he - Catfight, where she gets knocked into a coma by He he, then wakes up years later with amnesia, regains her memories, and takes revenge on He he, knocking her into a coma. Anne He he wakes up from the coma with amnesia just like Oh, but then regains her memories and goes to confront Oh in the end for one last showdown. Catfish was an interesting movie...

r8 The UK had nothing to do with it, they gave Canada a certain number of places they could fill with people of their own choosing and the Canadian government chose Sandra as one of those people.

Elizabeth was Queen of Canada, completely separate from the British monarchy in a very real and legal sense.

When the Queen (and now Charles) travels to Canada she does so on a Canadian government aircraft. Security in Canada is provided by Canadian security agents. When the Queen died, Trudeau didn’t sign a book or condolences at the UK High Commission, he did so at Rideau Hall - the official residence of then Governor General and the residence of her majesty when in Ottawa.

The UK government has exactly zero say in who and how many people it brings to the funeral of CANADA’S queen.

There was a mix up at the palace when they asked for the corpse of Lady Di to be there. The funeral operators thought they meant Lady Dai and that Sandra was her
