They just go on and on.
What artist made the most of their one-hit wonder status?

What about Vicki Lawrence? She made her one hit out of a song Cher passed on and spent the rest of her career in support hose and a fat suit.

Rick Astley, Ricky Martin, Hootie & the Blowfish and Wayne Newton were most definitely NOT one-hit wonders.

Drops Of Jupiter is one of the most played songs on adult contemporary stations. Sick of it.

You might want to rethink the choices in your poll.
Though I don't think you can change them to an accurate poll of one-hit-wonders. So, unfortunately, your results will be worthless.

Martin had a few hits, even if they didn’t reach the hight of La Vida Loca. Shake Your Bon Bon comes to mind.
And the best answer is Sinead O’Connor. She had one hit but is still legendary in her own right.

Op is an epic failure.

What an odd mix of options, most of which are not one-hit wonders.

Nope R5. I remember buying Sinead's first album in ?1986, it received great reviews and a lot of publicity. Long before Prince's song, , Sinead was an indie darling.
Now Lorde, she is a one hit wonder.

Hanson is not a one-hit wonder. "I Will Come to You" was a top-10 hit.

R8 Being an indie darling doesn’t mean someone isn’t a one hit wonder. In fact, many are. She only had ONE hit song, but I never said she only had one good song. In fact, for many Indie artist, that is the best thing. One big hit to make them rich and keep the royalties, and then they can keep performing in smaller venues and have their dedicated fan base.
R10 Did that song chart? No. Sinead has never had a “hit” besides Nothing Compares 2 U.

Hootie is not a one-hit wonder. Their first top 10 hit was "Hold My Hand".

Maria Muldaur was a one-hit wonder with Midnight at the Oasis but has gone on to have a successful if low-key career exploring many branches on the Americana tree, particularly the blues.

"One hit wonder" doesn't mean "one hit [italic]album[/italic] wonder", OP.

OP - I have now provided perfect proof that each item on your "one-wit wonder status" list is wrong. ^see above^
You suck.

Flawed poll, and not even just a little bit. Just because you haven't listened to music since 2001 doesn't mean that Train just quit making music.
