I just saw on TV that smarmy David Beckham queued up to see the Queen's coffin. He's still desperate to get one. Just did not trust that move at all. Leaked emails some years ago revealed that he really, really, really wants one.

^more likely at the Coronation, I would imagine? I would guess that any Prince’s Trust celebrities present at the Queen’s would be kept to A-List minimum and would have worked with the Queen herself.

Apart from the Prime Ministers, High Commissioners and Governor-General , every Commonwealth country has been instructed to invite 10 civilian “local heroes” and all Victoria Cross recipients. Westminster Abbey only holds 2200. And that’s not counting international presidents, foreign royalty and her buddies in the horse breeding community.
