US vs British toilet paper
As an American, I grew up thinking the US had the best toilet paper on Earth. Then, tonight I read about King Charles' favorite toilet paper: THREE(!!!) ply Kleenex Velvet.
AFAIK, there's literally no such thing as 3-ply American toilet paper. Wikipedia amazingly claims 4, 5, and 6-ply toilet paper exists in other countries, too.
So... first... for anyone who's experienced both, which toilet paper is genuinely best: US Charmin Ultra, or British/European Kleenex Velvet?
Then... where the FUCK does 4, 5, or 6-ply toilet paper exist, and why can't we buy it in the US?
Compared to the best of the best foreign toilet paper, are Americans stuck with inferior, crappy toilet paper? Or does Charmin Ultra still hold its own against them, even if it IS only 2-piy?

My parents are British and every time I go back to visit them I worry the paper won’t fish because it’s so plush! I think the brand is Andrex.

America has some of the worst of all products. The food sold is substandard and not sold in Britain or the EU. The fruit and veg is tasteless and crap - even the organic stuff is not considered organic grade in the EU/UK.
Your FDA is a criminal organisation which, to prop up the sugar industry and the corn industry, intentionally lied about the food pyramid, making an entire generation of people whose ancestors were all thin suddenly become unbelievably fat.
If your government / corporations will do that to you voluntarily, why the fuck would they supply you with decent toilentpaper when they can just overcharge you for more substandard dreck?

I try to be eco-friendly and buy recycled toilet tissue, which is 2-ply and reasonably soft. My parents use the quilted Andrex stuff.

I vaguely remember being told that U.S. toilets have smaller (narrower) plumbing which could be a reason. Don't want the toilet to get blocked.
