Anyways, La Widow Ledger reminds me a lot of Amy Adams in that they always give the most tepid broken doll performances and get heaps of critical praise and awards recognition for it. Nothing about that suggests she's ever been a Weinstein favorite.

Williams can only seem to do her broken doll routine. Her Sally in Cabaret on Broadway had none of the required charm or charisma required to make you fall in love with or at least be drawn to her.
