The UK is really going down-hill

I mean, Boris was the worst PM ever, but the new one is just even WORSE somehow.

And Charles is ... terrible. Say what you want about Queen Elizebeth, but she wasn't as terrible as Charles is. Thankfully his reign will be at most 20 years give or take, due to his advanced age. I'd be surprised if it's even that long.

Honestly, I think it's time for Irish unifications (Northern Ireland leaves the UK and unites with the rest of Ireland... the whole Brexit fiasco makes the border there untennable anyway), and frankly. Scottland should just declare its independence. Let's just end this whole "United Kingdom" thing ... well, I guess Wales and England can stay together, because Wales has nothing to offer on its own anyway. But still.

I can't believe their leadership has fallen so far. I may have hated Margaret Thatcher, but at least she wasn't a simpering clown like the current one (or the a bumbling buffoon like the last one). I mean, these PMs are like if Monty Python were writing the script... just laughable and bizarre.

And Charles is just a bitter arrogant entitled obnoxious asshole. I hate that his face will be on their money and stamps soon. BLeh.

the new Prime Minister has only been in office a week and she's worse than Boris? How can you tell?

Yes, the Unionists in Northern Ireland will accept a united Ireland without question.

A hard border between Scottland and England will be fantastic for the Scottish economy. Totally tennable.

A sensible point.

I can't speak on the state of the nation, but I am enjoying the insane speculation that PM Liz Truss is a "collared sub" in a BDSM relationship, who wears a "day collar" in plain view. This theory was started by perverse trannies on Twitter, and not especially likely, but amusing

Keep going OP! There is nothing that British people like more than being lectured to on their government and the structure of the union by a stupid, ill-informed and generally clueless American.

^ The only thing worse than "a stupid, ill-informed and generally clueless American" is a snotty, know-it-all peasant Brit with rotten teeth and the manners of a pig

I mean, you keep voting for Tories. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

Thank you for insightful analysis/wrap-up of Charles's four-day reign, OP.

City on fire!!

I don’t like the facial expressions of this new PM. She seems shifty-eyed. She doesn’t have the best interests for the country at hand.

Charles reminds me of a royal Mr. Bean.

The US and The UK both have a lot in common particularly in how they treat the world and how the world sees them. Both have delusions of grandeur.
