She was great and had an instantly recognizable voice. She's up there with the Steve Perrys and Freddie Mercurys.

She was also a coke ho.

Once loved the lady, now despise her. That band and Stevie are some of the most ugly egotists I have ever seen (The Eagles too) Just horrible people with decent talent who got lucky. Her ramblings over current events and how she weaves herself into them are absolutely hilarious and laughable. She now sounds delusional and you realize how little the woman has lived in the real world- or planet earth. And I really hate what she did to Lindsey (who I never gave a fuck about other than appreciating his guitar playing)

That being said, despite her sounding like a goat- her voice still has POWER in it- which actually shocks me. She can actually still belt. One of my ride or die favorite artists of all time, is in her 50's, and toured this summer. It floored me how much of her vocal power she lost. It fucking saddened me.

However, Stevie still sounds like a goat- but a powerful one.

And no joke- Stevie's voice in that 80-83 era? There was nothing like it and no one like her- The voice was otherworldly and often unbelievably beautiful.

I saw her in concert a couple of years ago. Voice was still there but somewhat frail looking with mobility issues.

I don’t understand why HBO hasn’t made a splashy miniseries about Fleetwood Mac and Stevie/Lindsey.

R18- I truly don't think it would be good. Its pretty basic bitch stuff. Fleetwood Mac was best suited as a reality show. A film just won't work- and can you imagine the lawsuits if the REALLY juicy stuff would be included?

Fleetwood Mac is done in many respects, if not all.

Great music in and out of Fleetwood Mac. Rooms On Fire and Stand Back are two of my favorite songs.
