You know she's not oblivious to all this.
What's Beanie Feldstein Thinking Right Now?
by Anonymous | reply 92 | September 11, 2022 12:15 AM |
She's eating ice cream.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 7, 2022 2:35 PM |
"Yummy! This is delicious. I want 12 more!"
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 7, 2022 2:36 PM |
I wonder twat the Beanie is doing tonight.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 7, 2022 2:36 PM |
The sound clips floating around of Lea singing are thrilling. Beanie needs to grab some ice cream and get out of the country. This isn't going to be pretty...
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 7, 2022 2:48 PM |
Regardless of what one may think of LM, personally, it was clear she was much more suited to the role than Beanie from the beginning. I think LM learned the Funny Girl score before she could talk.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 7, 2022 2:55 PM |
But it's MY dream!!!
Ben, bring me the ax!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 7, 2022 3:06 PM |
Good for Lea
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 7, 2022 3:06 PM |
Reading the comments from people who went last night, the thing that is surprising me is that they are saying how funny Lea is in the first act and how moving she is in the second.
I really didn't think she would be either.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 7, 2022 3:07 PM |
"Well, she may have gotten four standing ovations before intermission, but I had a party when I was a little girl and I dressed as Fanny Brice. So let's call it even."
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 7, 2022 3:09 PM |
No Tony eligibility for Lea. Therein lies her wig-shitting curse.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 7, 2022 3:10 PM |
And ? Just like Reba, she will go down as reviving a lackluster show with the wrong leading lady and getting rave reviews in the process. Im sure she can live with that.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 7, 2022 3:13 PM |
She had people start standing ovations for her.
Her reviews are mixed at best.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 7, 2022 8:51 PM |
R9 Again who are actually making those comments?
This woman is Tracey Flick personified. I doubt much of this praise is genuine and not manufactured.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 7, 2022 8:52 PM |
I went to a Broadway chat message board and regulars had gone last night.
They all said that Lea was great.
So the praise isn't all just coming from troll farms.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 7, 2022 9:03 PM |
I would not be surprised if the Tony Committee awards Lea a Special Tony Award for this
which would drive Beanie into therapy
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 8, 2022 12:26 AM |
Lea sounds good!
I never could get myself to give Beanie Baby a listen.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 8, 2022 12:31 AM |
Lea shouts a lot while singing.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 8, 2022 12:34 AM |
I’m upset and cutting my labia.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 8, 2022 12:36 AM |
So is this bitch going to be the new LuPone?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 8, 2022 12:41 AM |
LuPone originated roles.
Cuntface is sloppy seconds at best.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 8, 2022 12:43 AM |
Hi Beanie / r23!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 8, 2022 12:45 AM |
Beanie never shit in someone’s wig and she can read…so I’m gonna guess she’s fine
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 8, 2022 12:52 AM |
I see the Beanie Babies are here...
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 8, 2022 12:57 AM |
Beanie already had her temper tantrum when she left more than a month early. But it will burn when Lea gets a cast album that Beanie didn't.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 8, 2022 1:29 AM |
A cast album that all of 100 people will buy.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 8, 2022 1:42 AM |
Beanie was delusional. So much smoke had been blown up her ass by Ben Platt, her daddy and mommy, that she believed she would triumph on Broadway because it was her "destiny." It all came crashing down because she didn't have the talent to lead a Broadway musical, and she blamed everyone else for her troubles. Good riddance. Welcome Lea.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 8, 2022 2:51 AM |
That's the reaction you get when the audience is packed with your friends.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 8, 2022 2:56 AM |
She's thinking she can have thirds again
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 8, 2022 2:57 AM |
r30...it just chaps your ass that shes getting raves, doesnt it ?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 8, 2022 2:59 AM |
Bitch please. Michele does NOT have many friends.

I'm an AMERICAN!

[quote] Just being realistic. I couldn't care less is she is great or terrible.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 8, 2022 4:01 AM |
I don't know why anyone would be surprised Lea Michele is good in the role. She's a CUNT and she's talented. Both things are true.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 8, 2022 4:02 AM |
Lea didn’t have any friends in the audience. I think you can guess why.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | September 8, 2022 4:02 AM |
I'll just rewatch the movie and save $250. No need to see a Barbra impersonation.

I keep seeing this. That sour Vulture writer, who obviously hoped to be able to write about a disappointing opening, developed his whole piece from it. But if it were that easy, why didn't amiable Beanie have the appearance of a sensational opening night last spring? SHE doesn't lack friends, fans, and family in New York. It's the main reason she was cast in the thing in the first place.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 8, 2022 5:05 AM |
Maybe Beanie can return to B’way in a revival of HAIRSPRAY. As to which role she plays — mother v daughter — is up for debate.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | September 8, 2022 5:24 AM |
Beanie will be returning to B'way in a revival of JUMBO in the title role.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | September 8, 2022 5:29 AM |
She isn’t tracey flick. But her character rachel berry was a total ripoff. That whole glee pilot is a ripoff of election. Watch them back-to-back.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | September 8, 2022 5:34 AM |
Beanie is thinking about pizza and cake.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | September 8, 2022 5:40 AM |
When did DL start loving wig-shitter Lea? Just because she can sing better than Beanie, low bar? This is a show that was never meant for a revival. Barbra was the show.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | September 8, 2022 5:58 AM |
She's thinking oh shit did I accidentally start the Ms. Flo v. Olivia feud?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | September 8, 2022 6:06 AM |
Mr. Weinberger, Beanie Feldstein is eating a meatball sandwich right out on the stage! And she's been passing notes!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | September 8, 2022 5:13 PM |
Beanie is thinking about starring in "Aunt Bee: The Musical" since she's already mastered the look.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | September 8, 2022 5:23 PM |
Beanie got standing ovations too, actually
by Anonymous | reply 52 | September 8, 2022 5:31 PM |
Sweetie, standing ovations are de rigeur in American theatrical culture right now. However, Beanie never received standing os after every vocal number BECAUSE SHE SUCKED.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | September 8, 2022 6:33 PM |
Lea Michele only got SO's after every number because the place was packed with her friends and supporters. This will never happen again
by Anonymous | reply 54 | September 8, 2022 6:40 PM |
"Piercing and unpleasant when it gets any higher than her chest, fading and pitchy when it descends even a few steps, it’s simply not a sound you expect to hear on Broadway. Styne and lyricist Bob Merrill wrote some stunners for Funny Girl, including “People” and “Don’t Rain on my Parade.” The latter song sits in Feldstein’s narrow comfort range, and so she blasts it out — particularly its final note — with foghorn force (if not phrasing). Everything else, though, goes sour."

[quote]Lea Michele only got SO's after every number because the place was packed with her friends and supporters. This will never happen again
The theater will place plain-clothed ushers in strategic positions to lead the standing ovations. It will be at every performance.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | September 8, 2022 7:39 PM |
Leas looks like a young Sandra Bernhard in op's pic.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | September 8, 2022 8:39 PM |
Wig shitter is already taking off tonight.
Two performances in.
Disgusting.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | September 8, 2022 9:56 PM |
R58 That is her contract, idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | September 8, 2022 10:05 PM |
So what R59?
You don't take a night off after only performing two shows. No real performer does that.

What I want to know is, why the radio silence from Barbra? She basically anointed Lea as her heir a few years back.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | September 8, 2022 10:19 PM |
Said it before and I will say it again- Beanie’s beautiful performance as Fannie Brice rivaled Carol Channing’s in “Hello Dolly”, and Mandy Patinken’s in “Evita”. Simply stunning. She should be proud of her Broadway legacy, and I’m sure we will see her soon.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | September 8, 2022 10:33 PM |
[quote]You don't take a night off after only performing two shows. No real performer does that.
It was all negotiated to make sure Lea didn't wear out her voice and so alternatives got a shot at performing.
You want her to say, "I don't care what our contract says, you're not going on Julie! I AM!!!!"?
Surely, you are not that stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | September 8, 2022 11:14 PM |
Fuck that shit.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | September 9, 2022 12:30 AM |
[quote]It was all negotiated to make sure Lea didn't wear out her voice
And again, I will tell you that a professional works eight shows a week. They have voice trainers to help keep it in shape. Ask Patti Lupone. If Lauren Bacall could do it, there's no reason why WigShitter can't.
It's weak to only do two shows and then take a night a night off because you need vocal rest.
LAME.

[quote]What I want to know is, why the radio silence from Barbra? She basically anointed Lea as her heir a few years back.
She never anointed Lea. Shit, the Michele fangurls are an insane bunch.
Lea asked for a picture with Barbra once, and Streisand told her no.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | September 9, 2022 12:42 AM |
I don't think Lea taking Thursdays off, during her run is wrong. Benko who has been playing the role after Feldstein's departure will play the role every Thursday. I think after the allegations that have been made about LM it looks good that she is willing to share the role. it makes her look like a jolly good sport. She is still doing, what, five nights a week? They still close Broadway on Mondays, right?
by Anonymous | reply 68 | September 9, 2022 12:45 AM |
I think it's great that actress gets a guaranteed day once a week to perform in the show.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | September 9, 2022 12:46 AM |
I think it’s hilarious that she asked Barbra Streisand for a fan photo and Barbra told her no.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | September 9, 2022 12:47 AM |
R70 Barbara won't take pictures with peasants
by Anonymous | reply 72 | September 9, 2022 12:48 AM |
R72 Lea misunderstood. I told her, to call the Olin Mills at the Malibu Mall and make an appointment and I would gladly sit with her. It was a buy 1 get two free deal.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | September 9, 2022 12:52 AM |
In reading all the reviews, she seems overrated at best.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | September 9, 2022 12:53 AM |
What Beanie is thinking about...How to sue her fucking backstabbing agent, who is the Lea(I loved Cory the GFP drug addict soooo much-Fucking drugged out Fag). And the Exec Producers of FG!!!
by Anonymous | reply 76 | September 9, 2022 1:08 AM |
who is that cunt Lea's agent too. Because I want to sue the fuck outta these fucking assholes.
I want $$$$$ and lots of Food. Beanie

r67....youre a fucking liar and have exposed yourself as the hater you are...
by Anonymous | reply 78 | September 9, 2022 1:33 AM |
I thought I read somewhere that they have the same agent...it could be some other kind of management though
by Anonymous | reply 79 | September 9, 2022 1:34 AM |
R78, those are two rough looking broads.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | September 9, 2022 1:49 AM |
Lea's face in that pic looks as if Streisand just cunted her one good.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | September 9, 2022 1:56 AM |
Benko doing Thursday nights was part of taking care of Benko. They needed her to do all the post-Beanie, pre-Lea performances, so it was only reasonable that she continued to do one show a week, if for her pride alone, and making sure they had someone they could trust. They have created a "star" in Benko, and they will smartly have her do the national tour, and she will sell tickets. Out of a real Beanie shitshow, they've saved this thing.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | September 9, 2022 1:56 AM |
Having the same agent is BAD!! Lea was signed 2 months before Beanie was fired. The main agent obviously knew& the Exec Producers also knew that Beanie's replacement was already signed (Evil Lea)' That is a "MAJOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST" 4 the main agent and the corporation he works for(as well as the Exec Producer). I won a 100 million settlement through arbitration for a stockbroker who was fucked over by a corporation with a major Conflict of interest. The agent has a massive problem with signing Beanie's replacement 2 months before she was pressured to quit (or was fired)

I agree it’s super sketchy R83. Did Beanie fire him?
by Anonymous | reply 89 | September 9, 2022 3:29 AM |
I dont think so. How do you know the producers didnt tell Beanie that it wasnt working out and that they were actively seeking a replacement months ago ? That could explain her lackluster attitude, the multiple missed performances, and her quitting when they signed Michele. Remember...all that happened within days.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | September 9, 2022 3:33 AM |
Sending a gift is not anointing someone.
Compare it to Streisand praising Gaga's talent and wanting her to play her daughter in GYPSY, it's small potato's
