What the actual... How could this happen?

My default assumption is that stories posted on big relationship subreddits are false.

Suicide is the only option, I feel.

The comments in that article are fun. Who knew Reddit was so pro fucking your brother.

What a brunch of pervs in the comments.

No one suggests therapy or heavy medication?

This brings new meaning to the phrase, "Love thy brother."

So...both aware they're adopted since childhood, and assuming as full siblings they have at least a PASSING resemblance. No one thought to do a DNA test early on?

They should move to France where consensual sex between adults is legal. And one or both of them should be surgically sterilised to definitively prevent conception.

I doubt it's real. Someone with a fetish for that kind of thing is probably rubbing one out over all the replies.

What exactly is the problem, here?

Close biological relatives who don't grow up together and only meet as adults are often strongly attracted to each other - this is a well-known phenomenon.

I don’t believe this story.

There were several soap storylines like this in the 1980s about siblings or half siblings falling in love but I can't remember details.

Is this why Dr. Oz was making his incest comments?

WOW OP. That's incredible! Almost as crazy as this one! The world is a wacky and strange place of true stories!

R14 "The Young and the Restless" had three of them. A few turned out not to be related but believed for a while they were.

All My Children’s Erica Kane was down to fuck her new man, Mark Dalton, until her mother Mona revealed Mark was the bastard son of Eric Kane, making them half siblings.
We estimate that my stepson has at least 8 biological siblings out there. He is over 18 now, but so far has no interest in learning more about his bio parents.

This is some Cersei and Jamie Lannister or Targaryen shit... How is she still sexually attracted to her brother after finding out?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 7, 2022 2:59 PM |
Discovering the relationship doesn't seem to stop the attraction - it's growing up with each other that somehow immunises siblings from this generally, although there are a minority of cases where this doesn't work properly.

That's like Sir Francis Rose, who discovered the village boy he was fucking was his son. He'd seduced some girl there when last passing through.
