Why is it so hard for some guys to keep their nails trimmed?

A male cashier at my local grocery store has long, filthy fingernails. Everything about him looks greasy and unkempt and he has no business handling food.

People like this don't prefer longer finger nails, they simply fail to practice basic personal hygiene. It doesn't require an "obsession" to notice this.

Men's nails grow at different rates. Some guys can trim them one day and they're practically fully grown back the next day. It's a lot of unnecessary upkeep unless you're a fisting top.

Speaking of nail care, I Dremel®-ed my toenails yesterday. Just thought you would like to know.

I'm good at trimming my finger nails, but my toes get special treatment. A number of years ago I discovered the joys of a pedicure (given you find someone who knows what they're doing). Yes, it costs, but it feels so good when you leave the salon.

I think there should be a mention of keeping nails trimmed and FILED in all hygiene classesin high school. it's shocking how many straight men have raggedy nails. disgusting (I mention straight men because I have never noticed a gay man have raggedy nails, just sometimes long ones but they're filed).
