As a very skinny guy, this is annoying. So many brands only have small. It’s frustrating seeing something I like but I can’t buy it because it’ll be way too big on me.
Why don’t more (gay) brands make clothing for very skinny guys?

OP = Tom Thumb

Small is too big for you? I suggest shopping in the children's department.

gay brands? What are those?

I have the khaki & black stripe pants in this article in a tight size 29 and (off the rack) they fit like they were custom made for me--possibly the sexiest garment I own.
I happened to meet one of the owners a few years ago and while he was thrilled for me, he also confessed that they ceased production of that size because they don't have the capacity to carry inventory for smaller sizes which do not sell.

You’re just going to have to dust off your Singer, OP

Off topic, R9, but that reason has less to do with sizing or the clothes or the "pig" and much more to do with the personality of at least one of the owners.

i bet it is the fat one r11

Size 29 is too big for me. I need more like size 26-27. Really only Hollister and American Eagle are giving me what I need.

Sorry I meant r6

I see your point; if there isn't a market for size 29, OP, then there certainly isn't much demand for 26-27. And they are already baselessly calling us "groomers" so slutwear in the boys section would be courting trouble for sure.
I recently took a pair of "fetish" trousers with me when I went to visit family in the south because I know of a less expensive tailor in that town. I was slightly nervous about taking them in, but when I did, she looked at it like "a job is a job" and had them ready 36 hours later.

Yeah size 26 is what I have to buy, but I also buy size XXS (which says 23-25), which is a little too tight around my waist, when I can because my legs are so skinny.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 2, 2022 3:36 PM |
The shirts are trickier because an XXS sometimes feels too tight on me, but an XS feels too big a lot of the time. I don’t want a shirt covering my butt.

Ask the accommodating shopbottoms at Nasty Pig for help finding something in your size.

R15 Oh honey, sure she said a job is a job, but you know an hour after you dropped off your trousers with the drop-seat in them that she plastered a pic of them all over social media with your face attached. Look for pointing and snickering at the Piggly Wiggly on your next visit to see the fam!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 2, 2022 3:48 PM |
HA, R21! Good point!
But there's a Whole Foods AND a Trader Joes there now so I don't have to go to the Piggly Wiggly anymore!

You'll find clothes in your local 'chinatown' that will fit.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 2, 2022 3:58 PM |
You’ll find ‘em on Amazon, too, R23, where men’s sizing is a bit odd: Asian size XL fits a 33 inch waist. If you can deal with that, the stuff tends to be cheap and cheerful and my last two orders took a week to get to the East Coast (US) from Guangdong.
Amazon is the new Chinatown.

I used to have 26" inch waist.
