This is just a brilliant takedown. The look(s) on his face are priceless.
She is a national treasure! This is my state and she is my candidate!!!

I'm excited to vote for her again and have gotten everyone registered at work

R2- Excellent! I have gotten my daughter's friends to do the same. She is the ONLY reason why my state is purple now. I never had hope if that until this impressive lady came along. We are blessed to have her.

She ACTUALLY had an election stolen from her.
She didn’t incite an insurrection, or moan and groan incessantly.
She’s won respect that Kemp will never have.

R4- Kemp is criminal and he committed genocide on this state when covid broke out.

Ms Abrams needs to run for a house seat and work her way up. She would be a superb Speaker of the House.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 1, 2022 3:14 PM |
No, R6, she needs to win in November so she can then become someone on the short list to become president.

Obama is more charismatic and a better speaker, but she clears him in every other way. She knows how to build and organize the party for electoral success, which Obama had no interest in doing.

She is a political goddess!
Hail Stacey!
She needs to drive Kemp into the dirt.

A rumor out of Athens is that Kemp is basically Larry the Cable Guy and his accent is total horseshit. Unless accents magically appear when you're 35
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 1, 2022 3:31 PM |
Abrams is a brilliant speaker, that was a great take down of Kemp.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 1, 2022 3:33 PM |
FiveThirtyEight today:
Kemp: 49.4%
Abrams: 44.3%
How is it possible that we live in such a world?

R10, Ask anyone who knew Sen Kennedy of Louisiana before he switched parties and became a Republican. It does happen.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 1, 2022 3:36 PM |
Kemp is slimy and underhanded. She needs to show the kind of commercials he used to win in 2018.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 1, 2022 3:40 PM |
r12, white supremacy.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 1, 2022 3:42 PM |
That people would vote for slimy assholes like Kemp illustrates how hateful and ignorant people can be in an effort to maintain an unethical and cruel status quo.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 1, 2022 3:43 PM |
Look. In 2018, Trump was at the height of his powers and influence and everyone in his party was scared to defy him. v Byan Kemp fully embraced the racism and actually got a bus and cut a commercial where he posed with his guns and said he was "going hunting" for illegal immigrants. He did other things even worse. And he has passed and sign laws for open carry and anyone who wants a gun can have one. The shootings in Metro Atlanta and even in the far suburbs have escalated. So Stacey has the ammo to go after him.. She has to run hard and really go after him. School has started. In addition to abortion guns are a concern, even in GA. No one wants to "take your gun away." But assault weapons, and no age or red flag limits, are irrational.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 1, 2022 3:53 PM |
Kemp is sneaky. He thinks he can smile a lot and appear "professional" and calm, and get over. She can't let him.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 1, 2022 3:54 PM |
Anecdotally, I don't see any Kemp signs. A shitload if Herschel ones tho
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 1, 2022 3:56 PM |
Thats because you have a lot of insanely stupid MEN who will vote for Walker simply because he was a Football player...and no other reason.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 1, 2022 3:59 PM |
Too bad most white southerners are such trash. She won't win. Same assholes who voted for a moron named Tommy Tuberville. Same morons who almost had Roy Moore in the Senate. Same morons who will vote for that brain-damaged meathead Walker because they see him as one of them "good nigras" who'll do what his white masters tell him.

R12, it’s also a function of incumbency. In my state of Michigan, no incumbent governor has lost a bid for a 2nd term since 1962, when challenger George Romney defeated the one-term Democratic governor.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 1, 2022 4:46 PM |
Agree Incumbents arereally tough to beat. But R22, Kelly Loeffler was an incumbent who lost to Warnock. Perdue was an incumbent who lost to Ossoff. So hopefully, Kemp will be an incumbent who loses to Abrams.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 1, 2022 5:09 PM |
R23, senators are a different animal entirely from governors. The latter are far more visible than the latter, giving them a much greater opportunity to ingratiate themselves with their constituents. Please also note that Loeffler was the seated senator but, as a replacement choice (by Kemp), she had never faced the voters before, let alone been elected.
