Someone upthread mentioned the messy situation with his ex Bridget Monahan. I think it is true that he probably dumped his ex for Giselle and the whole situation turned messy when his ex found out she was pregnant. But I was impressed that he actually cared about the baby and tried to be a good father. Most men would have just walked away, angrily paying the child support and started a family with the new girlfriend. Most children in these situations are lucky if their father picks them up for a court ordered weekend or vacation or calls them on their birthday. It starts when they're playing in high school. It continues on in college. Then if they make it to the NFL it keeps going. It all adds up.
