I think Elizabeth looks great. I watched the (very funny) Saved By The Bell reboot, so I was aware that she’s not as slender as she was I her 20s (imagine!), but she’s luminously pretty. There's a difference between people gaining weight in middle age and looking as repulsive as Lens and Lizzo.

Being fat is not healthy, period. Being obese leads to all sorts of illnesses: heart disease, diabetes and cancer, to name a few. It also puts a strain on you knees. I have a formerly obese relative who needed knee replacements in their 30s! This woman is very short, under 5 feet, she blew up to 275, now they weigh around 125. This relative lost all that weight without needing a bariatric surgery, she did it on their own, she also started to exercise and walk a lot.

Being obese is not only about others being offended by fat, grossly overweight people should care about their health.

A close friend died a few years ago, she was always obese, but had a pretty face. This woman was never without a man, most of her BFs were hot, of course, they were chubby chasers. The most weight this woman ever lost was 40 pounds, she was heavy most of her life. This woman died of a stroke at 42.

My mother is the only one who has remained thin at almost 70 while my aunts ballooned up, because my mother understood that as you get older, you make sacrifices and work harder to maintain your weight. She doesn't eat the things she once did, she no longer eats as much as she once did. She never exercised until she got older and realized that what she could normally eat without gaining weight, is no longer the case, so she exercises.

The only point I was making is that unless you do have a medical condition, there is no excuse for gaining that much weight, esp. if you have the resources to be thin. She doesn't have to be Anna Wintour -thin, but she's not that old that she can't be thinner. Look at Halle Berry who is older.
