Like her clothing in OP suggests, I've always felt she is of the wrong era. She would've been a big star back when studios ran interference for the stars and controlled the press.

She was great in blade runner, but that wasn't a hit. Had it been she'd be a bigger star.

Sean Young bridged a beautiful cultural gap between those who showed their eccentricities, and would be lauded at family holidays, then, and those who strive to embarrass themselves on Instagram and TikTok now. She never did anything that compares to what most people share on their social media every day. Oh yeah, and she was hot, and a great actress. She even made Kevin Costner seem hot in No Way Out.

She looks so much like Joan Crawford in OP’s picture.

She never impressed me in anything she was in. If she wasn’t nuts she would have aged out anyways - not really a great talent. She was pretty, though.

I love how the article describes her as "Our female Gary Busey." She's only in the news these days when she crashes a party or assaults someone.

Her donning a catsuit and campaigning for the role Pfeiffer ended up getting in Batman Returns made international headlines. Everyone treated her like she had lit a dog’s tail on fire when all she was doing was clumsy guerrilla self-promotion. As mentioned upthread, it’s the sort of stunt that no one would blink at today.

That being said, she does seem troubled. Drinking problem, right?

I loved her in everything. But she was blackballed and called crazy. Had destructive relationship with James Woods and maybe a Weinstein victim? Anyway, love every performance I’ve seen.

I've met her and hung out w her....she isn't that crazy...her relationship w/ James Woods that turned sour is what started it..he actively campaigned against her in Hollywood and he was a big star at the time...then it's like a chicken w blood on them...pecked to death.

Didn't she and her son try to steal a computer a couple of years ago? I think it was something to do with a short film.
