It's Martha Mania on the Roku Channel as past episodes of Martha Bakes and Martha's Cooking School are streaming on said channel. What's more is the fact that all season's from her 1990s Martha Stewart Living daytime show are also streaming. What's your facorite Martha moment? Here's mine: Martha and Big Martha cook Mav n Chhese together and almost come to blows over a certain ingredient!
OMG Code Blue!
Appointment television... it's a good thing.

I was always surprised Martha had her mother on the show. It didn’t seem that ice queen Martha would acknowledge that she had an average woman as a mother. I was always expecting Julie Christie to be her mother.

I atill use Big Marth's meatloaf recipe. It's delicious.

I also liked the episode where Eleanor, the Italian lady with the thick NY/NJ accent, baked a Pizza Rustica with Martha. Eleanor was obnoxious beyond belief and she worked Martha's nerves throughout the segment. Martha could barely keep it together, and she let Eleanor know that she was on her last nerve - throughout the segment, though subtle enough not to be down right gostile.

This clip is very touching. Martha’s mother was so lovely to watch. I admired her pragmatism and honesty (“I’d leave [the cayenne pepper] out”).
It might be my device, but the milk with tomato paste, combined, created an odd-colored sauce, a bit like hepatitis diarrhea.

It isn't just you, R6. I found the color unappetizing as well.
I also find it hard to believe that macaroni and cheese with no bechamel could be all that delicious.

What channel on Roku? Can’t wait to watch the 90s shows again! Thanks OP for the info

Martha used to have Rosie on the Halloween episodes, and they were both in elaborate costumes. Can't wait to watch.

It's on the Roku Channel, which you should be able to add to your Roku if it isn't already on there, R8.

Here's Roku online, R8, if you don't have a streaming device connected to your TV. However, via device thete is an app called The Roku Channel - just like Tubi, YouTube, Crackle etc. Once in the Roku app, you simply search "Martha Stewart" and those three shows will appear. Hope this helps. - OP

I just caught one of the later 90s episodes when Martha had some older woman on showing her various Christmas trees. For me, the true entertainment value of this series lay in snarky Martha's control freak nature - it's always bubbling underneath the surface. Anyway, Martha and Christmas tree lady are soldiering on through the tension when Martha inquires as to why she doesn't have a green tree. Christmas lady says "I don't know, but I'm DYING to get my hands on one!" Martha responds "Well, then we MUST get that tree!" 😂😂😂

Martha was much nicer after prison. Best thing that happened to her.

I've often wondered how much "Martha, Jr." regularly paid "Big Martha" to say she was and to appear on those shows as her "mother." lol

Who’s her colorist?
I’ve always wondered.

Martha posts her colorist on Instagram. Same guy for years.

OMG, I can't believe Mrs Kostyra slapped Martha and snatched her wig and threw in the pot of boiling macaroni!
Bitch will NOT have her recipes tampered with.

R14 Martha's daytime talk show from the 2000s was surprisingly fun to watch because of her type A-ness. Watching only one segment may make her look kind of playful. But watching the show regularly makes her frustrations more and more obvious, but then something happened at some point and she loosened up and seemed to get that she was the butt of the joke and had more fun with guests like Amy Sedaris, who wreaked havoc in her kitchen set and mocked Martha's superiority every time she came. I remember one episode with Andy Dick when I thought she might actually go off on him, and one with Marcia Cross in which she made Marcia, who said she did not cook, squeeze boiling hot egg yolk from a pastry bag into a shell in her hand and Marcia was getting burned and Martha was NOT having the drama.

My favorite thing Amy Sedaris has ever done was her appearances with Martha.

I wish I could remember the specifics, but an old episode of Martha Stewart Living featured an older gentleman, a relation to one of Martha's staff I think, who made some recipe that was beloved in their family. As the man went through the steps of his demonstration, he was less than careful about drips and crumbs falling from his spoons and bowls. Martha spent the entire segment watching him like a hawk, wiping up behind his back with a dishrag.

Watch her with the nonplussed children toward the end of this.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 27, 2022 3:28 PM |
That was hilarious, R25..
"Have some blood!"
"I don't want any."
"It's not blood, it's grape juice."
"I don't want any."
"How about a severed finger? They're sugar cookies."
*Shakes head no*
"All right, go! Go... scurrying into the night."
*Kids look confused and wander away*

Why is Martha putting scrambled eggs back into eggshells?? Their insides would still be coated with raw egg, and they would be very annoying to try to eat, unless you used a baby spoon.

R27, she tried to adapt a British idea. The British soft boil an egg, then crack it open with a spoon and dip toast strips in it.

R27 She just did it to torture the prissy lesbian.

You just know she raised hell about those reluctant r25 kids. Probably had them blackballed from ever working in television again.

Did anyone ever watch her daughter’s show Whatever Martha? I always thought Martha had a good sense of humor about that.

R30 When Martha asked the boy if he couldn't drink with the vampire teeth in and he shook his head, she glanced at someone for a bare second and said, "No, he can't" in a chilling way. I know someone suffered for having sent him in in a costume that kept him from drinking Martha's blood brew.
R31 I watched some of it a few times. I am not a person who despises a lot of people. I see a lot of gray in the world. Martha's daughter is a miserable, mean-spirited person. I know she think she has a dry sense of humor, but if anyone ever begged to be called a bitch, it's Alexis. Seeing her did wonders for my appreciation for Martha. She has taken a lot of public humiliation from her daughter and seems to support her unconditionally. Of course, yes, she made her, but Alexis is in her mid-50s now and responsible for her own behavior. Of all people, she is one I would never want to meet.

Martha's daughter is a wretched bitch, who she had hoped would take over her empire. Now she has her hopes pinned on Kevin Sharkey.

I loved her mom. she seemed so sweet - and also I loved her recipes. I would have loved to cook with her. I think Martha just has a different emotional style - she seems cool, but actually she always talks lovingly about her family, and her mom and her seemed very close when cooking together. I met Martha once, and she was very nice and seemed normal. Very smart and a great sense of humor. IDK - I think there's a lot more to her than meets the eye as they say.

Big Martha's stuffed cabbage, to die for.

I liked Big Martha. I don't think she was touchy-feely with (Little) Martha. But BM humanized Martha.
Tim Gunn said that Martha & Alexis had a weird dynamic, like Grey Gardens. Too intertwined and dysfunctional, I guess. Tim mostly dislikes Alexis (calls her "dismal"), he's OK with Martha.

Also, is Chhese gluten free?
