true story: I went to see that dreck in a movie theatre back in the day. 2 seats away was seating - a hobo. A real dirty, stinky, gross homeless hobo. I moved one seat further away from him . When Brad's ass, as in OP's GIF appeared on the screen, I saw a white squirt flying by the alley, 2 inches away from my face. I couldn't believe what was happening, I turned my eyes towards him in utter disgust and disbelief, but it was happening. That disgusting, gross individual was wanking his disgusting gross dick. I stood up and left the theatre

"Fight Club" is my favorite Brad Pitt film. It's just a shame the ending is idiotic. I'll have to read the book. It may work better there. The Palahniuk novel I most want to read, but haven't gotten to is "Choke". I haven't seen the film, but I'm a big Anjelica Huston fan, so I'm looking forward to seeing it at some point.

The book is about a self-hating gay man who is emotionally disconnected because of his own sexual repression and desire to fit into a narrow definition of masculinity by capitalist American standards. Tyler Durdan represents what he wants to be and what he sexually desires. Like most book to screen adaptations, it got lost in translation.

Brad was great in this film because he's playing an ideal. An embodiment of a perfect male. So no imagination involved. He sucks when actually has a role where he needs to act and pretend to be something he's not.
