There's also the lesbian community, I would dare say, is more tight knit and community oriented than gay men. . . this too adds to social pressures and more rigid demands towards comformity and traditional expectations for lesbian relationships. And this sometimes can lead to a loss of community or being shunned by said community as inevitably people take sides.. and creating friction or lesbian drama in this tightknit scene, where you'll run into this drama everywhere from the community centers to the activist march to the pubs. OP has posted this exact same thing before, and I see I have this old link in my browser history, probably from the last time he trolled with it.

This doesn't appear to be true. It appears that DV stats for heteros, gays and lesbians are all roughly the same. However, there is a stat based on a study that asked lesbians about DV from before they came out and when they were dating or married to men, and that raised the overall percentage of lesbians who have experienced DV.
