Republicans escalate IRS rhetoric as senator warns Americans not to apply for new jobs

All because the new law will fund the IRS so it can actually tax the rich what they should be taxed.

It is unusual for a U.S. senator to publicly warn Americans not to apply for a job and threaten to eliminate it.

But that's what Senate Republican campaign chair Rick Scott, R-Fla., did this week, publishing an open letter encouraging job seekers not to pursue new IRS positions, vowing that Republicans, who hope to take control of Congress next year, will quickly "defund" those jobs.

From the guy who says publicly that he wants to eliminate SS and Medicare (because they tax the rich)

Rick "Batboy" Scott sucks

R1 Ricky Scott won't totally eliminate Medicare. Scamming them with shady billing practices is how he made all his money. Look it up. He's lucky he's not in federal prison for what he did!

And this is all showing what a complete fucking BLUNDERER Rick Scott is as NRSC chairman. The job is typically a stepping stone for future presidential candidates, because they get to travel the country and meet hundreds of rich donors and activists who can make a presidential run possible. But Rick Scott is the worst man for the job this year.

This is the bogeyman he's chosen? He's moved on from inflation and gas prices, moved on from Afghanistan, moved on from schools in disarray, and onto this hoary old stereotype: "Vote for us, because dontcha just hate the IRS???"

Of course Republicans hate the IRS. They're all cheating on the tax returns majorly and scared to death they'll be caught. A sophomore year accounting major would probably be able to point out all the crap and illegalities in their tax returns.
