Bojangles coming to New Jersey
Hallelujah!
Popular Southern fried chicken chain Bojangles is coming to New Jersey.
The North Carolina-based eatery has announced plans to open 10 restaurants in the Garden State as part of a franchise development agreement that includes expansion throughout the Northeast.
Bojangles’ New Jersey locations will open throughout North Jersey in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex and Union counties.
Exact restaurant locations and opening dates have yet to be announced.

Not for anything, but many diners in the state (at least in the northeastern part) make good fried chicken.
So call me underwhelmed.

It's incredibly good. The biscuits are the best part.

But do they have sweet tea and dirty rice?

I see the logo and it makes my gut hurt. I can't eat fried foods right now. Gall Bladder issues. However. I was thinking about fried chicken and the kind you buy at Bojangles and other fast food places and I have to say tha that stuff is kind of gross to me now. There's a lot of "batter" and not a lot of chicken. and meat is dry and kind of stringy. and the skin is just gross no matter what you do to it, and they put stuff in it like sugar and way too much salt. I guess if you're recovering from a drunken binge it might help a hangover, but no thanks. If I want fried chicken I'll get homemade. HOWEVER: I love the biscuits!

Bojangles is offensive? I have family in both Maryland and North Carolina. Bojangles are in both those places and dam good. Let me guess the name is tied to black face and shucking and jiving.
