The only reason her new moms want to keep her in the fundie school is because the girl was going there before she was adopted, and has friends there, etc., but at least the moms can deprogram the poor kid from the Xtian cult brainwashing the she has already been exposed to. It’s a blessing in disguise.

To be fair to the Baptist kindergarten, they had to kick her out because she made her mom “disappear” and used telekinesis to kill her dad. Now she has the audacity to be adopted by her gay biological aunt instead of heterosexual strangers? The nerve of that child!

They need to join a different church, hopefully not a baptist or catholic one. Thereare alot of churches which actually do what Jesus told us.

It's funny because Southern Baptist churches had a lot of social activists and liberals for were for integration, abortion rights and gay rights until the great purge that occured in the 1980s when the convention went far-right and adapted Evangelical ideologies. Overall liberal Christians seem to just be leaving their churches due to them going far right. It's easier to pander to extremists and conservatives who will are driven by fear. Liberal open-minded people in general are less likely to be religious and dogmatic.
