Ken Wahl and the Barbi Twins blocked me after I said they probably weighed 300 lbs. each these days.

R3, if this is true, it makes sense, at least in some situations. I follow few celebrities but there was a showrunner I thought was interesting. She was Canadian, had family members who perished in the Holocaust and tweeted interesting stuff. One day I realized I had not seen her tweets in awhile, tracked her down and she had blocked me. It was several years ago and I wasted way too much time wondering why. Sometimes actions are just irrational.

Patricia Arquette blocked me but I don’t even tweet, I just follow stuff.

Kurt Eichenwald blocked me and I never interacted with him or said a word about him anywhere or 'liked' any tweets pertaining to him. Presumably I follow someone who once mocked his affinity for tentacle porn and he's still not over it years later.

Ok. So a quick google reveals that Mrs Professor is a TV presenter, gender-critical feminist and formerly dysphoric teenager.

I do not dip my tweeting feet into the social media gender culture wars because I am not an idiot but I do follow the accounts of some of the major bêtes noires of the field like JK Rowling and Keira Bell. Lord knows what kind of blocklists I am on but they are probably not ones she would used.

I am reasonably sure I tweeted that my favoured Brian Cox was fantastic in ADAPTATION, so that could be it.

I know it's an unpopular opinion here but I genuinely find both political sides stubborn and closed-minded. They have an absolutist mindset. This has always been an issue but stuff like CNN and Fox News and social media created an echo chamber. A lot of social media activists are just power hungry narcissists.
