If they can make Halloween sequels with alternative continuities where Jamie Lee Curtis was never killed off, then they can make an alternate Nightmare sequel where Kristen, Joey and Kincaid were never killed off and where Kristen was never played by Tuesday Knight.
They need to make a new Nightmare on Elm Street film starring Patricia Arquette

Who is “they”, OP?

R6, between Halloween II and Halloween 4, JLC’a character died (I think in a car accident), and Halloween 4 introduced JLC’s character’s daughter, Jamie, played by Danielle Harris. Halloween 4, 5 and 6 were about the daughter.
Halloween H20 brought back JLC, and it turned out her character had faked her death, but her daughter was never referenced. It was as if the earlier sequels had never happened. JLC was killed off by Michael Myers in the next movie, Halloween Ressurection.
In Halloween 2018, none of the earlier sequels ever happened, and the storyline Halloween II introduced about JLC being Michael Myers’ sister was discarded.
