[quote]‘Halloween Ends’ Will Come to Peacock the Same Day It’s Released in Theaters, October 14th!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 23, 2022 6:46 PM |
That's nice it's on Peacock but this is a movie that should be seen with a crowd. If I don't have a sassy black woman behind me yelling "Oh hail no, get your ass out of there!" I will be disappointed.

Is Kyle Richards in this? I thought she was.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 26, 2022 2:33 AM |
If they kill Kyle, I will watch. Eh, I probably watch anyway to see the scream queen run again.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 26, 2022 2:35 AM |
Kyle was in the last one. She wasn't good in it at all, guess her mind was elsewhere. Makes too much on RHOBH. Bitch stole her better sister Kim's money. Kim was better in all ways until she became an alcoholic.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 26, 2022 2:39 AM |
^ Lisa Vanderplump. She was great actually. One of the best things about the movie.

So how does the radio tower figure in to all of this? The filmmakers said it was so important in the audio commentary for Kills. So important that it was CG’d into various scenes in the previous movies because it is meant to pay off in Ends. If the plot leaks are real then what the actual fuck have they been wasting theirs and everyone else’s time over?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 26, 2022 1:41 PM |
It'll NEVER end.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 26, 2022 3:20 PM |
R12, maybe the cave Michael is supposed to be living in is under the radio tower?

Every gore scene they keep showing in trailers/clips is a punk. None of shit is what it seems. Incredibly misleading.
People are going to be bullshit. I am going to stop repeating the same things over and over and wait until this shitshow is released..
One nice thing, the little clip out there of the soundtrack is good.
And David Gordon Green is right. It's time to get off of this ride.

Sequel will be titled Halloween, The Beginning.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 3, 2022 6:24 AM |
Are you going to see it in theaters or stay at home?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 3, 2022 12:33 PM |
It’s always nice to see a woman in her early 70s, famous with IBS, running around away from a serial killer!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 3, 2022 12:41 PM |
Better than seeing a woman in her early 50s with Bugs Bunny veneers running around from a serial killer.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 3, 2022 12:56 PM |
I can’t wait. I never wanted anything from Halloween movies but the same old. I like jlc in anything & love that she has always embraced her scream queen status. She could’ve just moved on from the B movie /shlock stuff & never look back.

R19 I'll be headed for the cinema, with bells on. I have an equally depraved post fifty year-old friend who enjoys these films. It's something we anticipate with much fanfare and glee. We also enjoy eating the crapola nachos and hot dogs.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 4, 2022 7:55 AM |
These new Halloween movies SUCK. David Gordon Green is a hack.
The only thing good about them has been Carpenter's scores.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 4, 2022 8:47 AM |
R24 But it's al we really have around Halloween. Don't ruin it for us! We thoroughly loved the last two.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 4, 2022 8:50 AM |
R24. They all sucked, even the original. Who cares? What do you want from a slasher film? Depth? - like in Friday The 13th?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 4, 2022 9:55 AM |
I am over this shit too. The 2018 movie was just okay, but not good enough for me to bother with “Halloween Kills”—and honestly, what kind of fucking title was that? It sounds ridiculous. David Gordon Green is a putz of a filmmaker, and Jamie Lee has lost her mind and descended into some woke spiral in which she views the new Halloween reboots as socially relevant meditations on trauma, which is fucking absurd.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 4, 2022 10:08 AM |
R27 I don't know anything about all that trauma related business, yet I still enjoy that this franchise has legs. It's sweet nostalgia for me. There is nothing else like it that continues.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 4, 2022 10:29 AM |
R28 I am a fan of the series overall and even like the more widely-derided sequels, but the reboot frankly bores me. The characters are extremely unlikable, including Laurie. When Jamie Lee was doing promotion for the 2018 film, she probably said the word "trauma" 87 times in every interview she did, praising David Gordon Green for spinning the character as a woman whose entire life has been driven by the trauma of her encounter with a serial killer.
This is an unpopular opinion, but I frankly found the insane subplots that started with Halloween 5 and were expanded upon in Halloween 6 intriguing. It was ridiculous, sure but the films were stylish (and kind of trashy) and at least offered something weird in the mix.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 4, 2022 10:42 AM |
R29 Perhaps so, but what else have we in its place? I'll still go, and very much looking forward to it.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 4, 2022 10:44 AM |
Laurie and Michael will consummate their fiendish union. Both have the hots for each other.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 4, 2022 12:00 PM |
I hope Laurie doesn't expect him to finger her after she blew half of them off.

by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 27, 2022 3:25 PM |
R34 Wow, what incredible insight into the 13th film of a 44 year franchise.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 28, 2022 8:18 AM |
Despite being a fan of the series, I have no interest in seeing this. After reading the plot summary on Wikipedia, I especially have no desire—it sounds like a fucking disaster.

The movie stunk!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 14, 2022 6:22 AM |
Jamie Lee Curtis has more wrinkles than my 80 year old mother.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 14, 2022 6:25 AM |
THAT's how they end the series? With some Darren Criss knockoff getting most of the screen time?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 14, 2022 6:27 AM |
They should have left it at Halloween 2018.
The sequels were shit.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 14, 2022 6:33 AM |
R40 No this one wasn't.
It was spectacular!!!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 14, 2022 7:00 AM |
Like Jamie Lee Curtis would ever let this cash cow end! She’ll tour in it as a 1-woman show, if necessary.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 14, 2022 7:19 AM |
I liked this one. It's pretty ambitious for a horror movie. Decent writing, nice characterization, and strong acting - surprised I'm writing that about a horror movie

Ugh that cunt Lindsay character wasn't killed off.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 15, 2022 2:28 AM |
It had a few good ideas and at least had a story unlike Kills which was a series of gory death scenes without anything stringing it together. It also took more risks than the safe 2018 film. That said, it didn't really feel like a Halloween movie and still suffers from the lack of suspense and scares that's plagued the entire trilogy. At the very least, the Laurie character is much more likable in this final film and it's probably the characterization they should have chosen for her from the start.
It was a very weird way to close out this trilogy which has felt like three completely different types of movies. Even Michael has gone from semi-human in the first to full on supernatural force of nature in Kills to whatever the hell he was in Ends.

The dad at the beginning was goodlooking.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 15, 2022 2:36 PM |
The casting of coreys mother was beyond. A brooklynese, orthodox jewish wig-wearing woman… in Illinois? I hate david gordon green and danny mcbride. They populated this whole trilogy with weird comedic actors who undermined the whole endeavor.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 15, 2022 2:51 PM |
And the Vinny Rigatoni football jock was out of place too.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 15, 2022 2:53 PM |
How in the hell did the graveyard caretaker survive being stabbed in the neck with a florescent light?
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 15, 2022 3:06 PM |
I liked it. The story was different enough & still had some jamie lee vs michael action. It’s also dumb.

I kind of liked the end scene of townspeople showing up at the junk yard. It was cool to see the kid from the first movie there along with the neighbor.
