I liked her as Vicky in Another World. It took a while to warm up to the next actress who played the role (of Vicky Love).

I know a lot of people here loathe soaps, but she was something very special in her time on Another World. The kind of performance that, compared to the more established performers, makes you sit up and go, "Wow, who was THAT?"

I know that there will be calls for me to turn in my Gay Card after I post this, but . . .

I have never seen any of these films, and until she crashed her car into someone's house I'd never heard of the woman. All I know at this point is that she is/was a troubled, drug-addicted, brain dead actress.

Oh my god, I just remembered how Anne talked Ellen into doing that nude sex scene with Sharon Stone in the segment she directed for If These Walls Could Talk 2.

FYI: Anne Heche's near Oscar nomination glory came with the one-two punch in 1997 for Mike Newell's "Donnie Brasco" & Barry Levinson's "Wag the Dog"

Both got noms for adapted screenplay but no Heche. She won the National Board of Review award for supporting actress (for both)

I Know What You Did Last Summer

I haven't watched any soaps since the early 90s and Another World's Vicky/Marley were EVERYTHING to me during a time I needed to cling to someone else's drama.

She's the same age as me. It's kind of harsh that she goes out like this.

Anne was as good as the script would allow her to be.
