He started off as a very promising actor. Now he's not even a second thought. Shitty movie choices? Anyway back?
Why Did Michael Fassbender's Career Go Down The Shitter
by Anonymous | reply 71 | April 23, 2023 10:59 AM |
He has #MeToo stuff that he’s been waiting out. Will attempt a comeback in David Fincher’s next movie.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 9, 2022 12:14 AM |
He's got give up the dick to employers
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 9, 2022 12:15 AM |
He got married and vanished.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 9, 2022 12:16 AM |
Despite us gays lusting after him, I don't think he ever clicked with audiences. He seemed to specialize in chilly characters -- Prometheus, Steve Jobs, etc. -- in his big Hollywood films, which was frustrating since he'd been so charismatic in earlier films like Inglourious Basterds and Shame.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 9, 2022 12:22 AM |
He whined too much about having a big dick and what a curse it was. Nobody wants to hear that shit.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 9, 2022 12:36 AM |
He morphed from dark and broody sex stud into middle-aged asshole. Who wants to deal with that?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 9, 2022 1:26 AM |
He’s a mean drunk who battered his ex gf and his “star vehicles” all flopped
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 9, 2022 1:41 AM |
Any rumors of him abusing Alicia Vikander?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 9, 2022 8:12 AM |
His penis pump broke and he was too cheap to replace it. He didn’t think he needed it anymore and thought he could get by on just his “talent”.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 9, 2022 8:18 AM |
What R4 said. He broke through with a couple of great roles and then it seemed like he was taking anything that was offered, and little of it was clicking with audiences anyway.
That MeToo stuff he has in the background has always been lurking, too. I think it's made people uneasy.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 9, 2022 10:05 AM |
I watched Irma Vep on HBO to see if Vikander would improve. She was very dull which makes sense because Scandinavian actors have to work extremely hard to be believable.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 9, 2022 10:31 AM |
He was on the verge of a huge comeback, but Jon Hamm beat him out for the role of "struggling actor" in the Progressive Insurance commercials.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 9, 2022 11:08 AM |
4 stinking bombs in a role, and then he got engaged. The bloom is off the massive dong, ultimately.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 9, 2022 11:20 AM |
Overrated.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 9, 2022 11:29 AM |
He married the most boring actress on earth.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 9, 2022 11:34 AM |
To follow his penis?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 9, 2022 11:54 AM |
[quote]Anyway back?
Oh, dear.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 9, 2022 12:16 PM |
People thought he was SO HOT in that movie where he walks around his apartment naked and takes a leak . For me he was never more than MEH 😑
His torso is VERY long- I’m generally not attracted to ECTOMORPHS
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 9, 2022 12:31 PM |
Flat ass and really quite average dick, in spite of the hype...
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 9, 2022 1:15 PM |
Doing movies like Shame doesn't really translate for some people. He's a fine actor but quite introverted, was obvious from watching him on Graham Norton. Charming but not there to sell his soul like so many of his extroverted American counterparts. Probably has some taste.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 9, 2022 1:23 PM |
I don't know how his wife gets roles, she can barely act. She is just terrible. I can't believe they remade that tomb raider movie with her...She was topless in one of the movies and her body is like a little boy's.
He's the nice guy who turns into a giant asshole when drunk type of guy. I know a few like him.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 9, 2022 2:06 PM |
Is she the one who played the female robot? That movie was full of nudity and was pretty weird to boot.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 9, 2022 2:26 PM |
He didn't batter his girlfriend, you fraus. That case didn't even make it to court because she was making very serious allegations which she had NO evidence to back up - no medical records, no photos.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 9, 2022 2:42 PM |
His dick was too big and all the pencil-dicks got mad and refused to cast him anymore. 😉
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 9, 2022 2:47 PM |
I think more than 1 person said he was physically abusive when drunk.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 9, 2022 2:49 PM |
R22 Yeah, she was in Ex Machina. Humanoid robot is probably the best kind of role given her range, so it worked out.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 9, 2022 2:50 PM |
He could be me within an inch of my life with that cock of his, just sayin
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 9, 2022 2:50 PM |
Michael Fassbender is trying to get a driving career going. He is in the Le Mans Series this year. He’s terrible. Worse than the Israeli and Indian billionaires’ sons you see in these categories. I guess the money will run out eventually.
Considering the reports he battered his African-American ex, he is lucky he missed out on cancel culture by 5 years, that for sure.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 9, 2022 2:56 PM |
Nothing concrete on the abuse allegations. He’s simply not a fame seeking actor in my opinion. He’s an actor. A smart one and shies away from the Hollywood Marvel pic genre. American movies are really kind of Kane these days. Their audiences are 12-14 year old boys. The more interesting stuff is on virtual chanels- I’ll bet we’ll be seeing more of him there.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 9, 2022 5:32 PM |
R29, lol, he's in X-MEN. it's Marvel Comics
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 9, 2022 5:34 PM |
Great actor and still a star. The schlong is icing on the cake.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 9, 2022 5:37 PM |
Right, r30?! He also did the Assassin's Creed movies. He did not shy away from doing movies for teenage boys, at all.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 9, 2022 5:41 PM |
No one cares about Metoo stuff anymore. We've seen too many false accusations. Just deny it. People have moved on to something else the next day.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 9, 2022 5:41 PM |
[quote] and really quite average dick, in spite of the hype...
Oh Mary, you're impressing no one.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 9, 2022 5:43 PM |
Pretty sure he kicked his ex-gf in the ovaries and at time or two. And honestly, there are better looking white men out there. Nobody needs an abusive one out there.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 9, 2022 5:44 PM |
He should have stayed away from the Alien franchise... and even though he's best known for Shame, I wonder if doing that film hurt his career too.
He's great at playing villains because he's handsome yet always has a cruel facial expression. I'm really curious to see how he will be in David Fincher's "the Killer," since Fincher's movies are hits or misses.
He would make a great Nazi in a WW2 flick.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 9, 2022 5:47 PM |
I believe I he's trying to get into producing (I think he produced some small, indie type movies) and of course the racing career; he might stink as a driver, but he probably brings a lot of free publicity to the sport, so I suppose they'll keep him around for awhile.
I remember seeing some of the press for the last X-Men movie (Red Head Rising, or something like that) and he seemed *over it* - his wingman James McAvoy was doing all the work to try & sell the thing while Fassy just sat there like he couldn't wait to leave. Based on photos, he seems to be toting around the baby while Viklander works, but I suppose at some point she's going to tell him to get a job or else...

Well, he did well in Band of Brothers.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 9, 2022 6:13 PM |
Nazi? He looks more irish to me than German. Although he is 50/50 of each. Anyway as r4 points out he's too cold to catch on to American audiences. Americans like people who can project warmth even if it's phony.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 9, 2022 6:47 PM |
He hated being known for having a big dick publicly but privately thought it would take him far. The problem was he would not pay to play so to speak. There are plenty of A list actors who let execs suck their cocks or fuck them. The MeToo movement is nothing. If they really talked about what goes on in Hollywood people would shit twice and die,.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 9, 2022 6:53 PM |
R37 that’s really not how motor racing works, he won’t (and doesn’t, to be fair) bring any more press. It’s a prohibitively expensive sport and you to fund your own way in to the tune of millions, and earnings come in the form of prize money. He does more endurance racing now but last year he was in some support races run prior to and F1. The commentators were trying to be nice but couldn’t avoid damning him with faint praise.

[quote] There are plenty of A list actors who let execs suck their cocks or fuck them.
Let's not name them, though.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 9, 2022 7:35 PM |
Not enough adult stuff to do here.
Does he speak German? Hopefully he's learning his wife's language.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 9, 2022 8:08 PM |
Make of this what you will, but pre-COVID, there were all kinds of blind items pointing to them about Fassbender openly cheating on her. They seem to be the picture of domestic bliss these days, but so where Brangelina until they weren't
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 9, 2022 10:09 PM |
It’s the curse of the Scottish play!
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 9, 2022 10:12 PM |
His only successful role was magneto, box office wise. All his career making solo films tanked.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 9, 2022 10:15 PM |
Fussyfassybendy is probably VERY unpleasant if you cross him. Has a shark tooth kind of smile.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 9, 2022 10:40 PM |
He's the type of actor who is meant to play weirdos and villains, like Jeremy Irons. Compelling but ice-cold on screen. He was lucky to have such a great five-year run; hopefully he saved some money and can pick and choose his character roles, because his leading man days are over.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 9, 2022 11:04 PM |
The usual unappealing mannerism that has plagued people from Brando to Burton to Steiger to Pacino to Fiennes to Spacey (ugh) to Depp to Downey and so on and on.
Anything else, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 9, 2022 11:35 PM |
Who cares? Post pictures of his dick!
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 9, 2022 11:41 PM |
Ex Machina was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.
Steaming pile of horseshit and played, played, played tropes.
An embarrassment for all connected to it.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 22, 2022 5:22 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 22, 2022 5:24 AM |

Playing characters named Harry Hole.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 22, 2022 5:37 AM |
I forgot about that.
😂😂😂😂😂
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 22, 2022 5:41 AM |
R4, have you ever seen Shame? It’s hardly a charismatic performance. It’s distant and opaque.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 22, 2022 5:51 AM |
Ya burnt!
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 22, 2022 5:52 AM |
He’s probably seen some things that a woman ain’t supposed to see, and that’s the reason for his thousand yard stare.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 22, 2022 5:53 AM |
Oh please, R20, look at his IMDb. He doesn’t have any taste. He was in Xmen, ffs. Assassin’s Creed? If that’s not selling your soul, what is?
His nadir was thinking he could play MacBeth and then giving a school boy’s performance.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 22, 2022 5:56 AM |
The public are no longer interested in 'stars'.
And Fassbender is an abuser so fuck him.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 22, 2022 5:58 AM |
R46 The landscape of German cinema would be very different today if he could.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 22, 2022 6:06 AM |
"The usual unappealing mannerism that has plagued people from Brando to Burton to Steiger to Pacino to Fiennes to Spacey (ugh) to Depp to Downey and so on and on."
And this means....what, exactly?
And whether you care for them or not, Brando, Burton, Pacino, Fiennes and Downey are not what I would call faded lights.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 22, 2022 6:07 AM |
Yeah, the whole Ex Machina “he’s raping the robot, who must be sentient” was just eye-rolling stupid. It figures audiences care more about the sexual abuse of robots more than they do actual women. Isn’t that the same thing in Westworld? It just satisfies people’s prurient interests - they can sexualise and enjoy the abuse because it’s a robot
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 22, 2022 6:07 AM |
Not muh HECKINRINOOOOO ROBOTINOOOOOOO!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 22, 2022 6:13 AM |
He also has "Kung Fury 2" which still hasn't come out yet. So not sure about his "good taste".
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 22, 2022 4:44 PM |
#MeToo may be passé but that’s not going to stop word of mouth from getting out about famous people’s bad behavior, especially when there’s recorded evidence.
