Mighty Joe Biden’s Approval Rating Could Be Bouncing Back
by Anonymous | reply 132 | December 22, 2022 12:01 PM |
The media is reticent to say it, but Biden has had the most successful first 2 years of a presidency in modern times. If it hadn't been for inflation, which was inevitable coming out of a historic global pandemic, then he would be heralded as better than Obama and Reagan.

Where I live (in Deplorable Haven, FL) I just saw a bumper sticker (among others) on the back of a car driven by a woman with very few teeth that said, "My dog is smarter than Joe Biden."
So let's hope the message starts to get through to these idiots.

This is downright ridiculous. He is a disastrous president (he was merely an incompetent mythomaniac when he was lucid, but now he can't even string a coherent sentence together), his reputation has taken many hits over the last several years due to his own corruption and his depraved son's repugnant acts, which include selling access to the US officials and scandalous levels of corruption in Ukraine, and now he is increasing repression within the United States while escalating attempts to cause a potentially devastating war with China and Russia. As impossible as it might seem, he is WORSE than Orange Dump, Chimpanzee Bush and his sinister father, that B-movie third rate actor Reagan and those snake oil salesmen Clinton and Obama.
This is only a feeble attempt by corporate media to promote support for corporate Repucrats, when in reality most of the US (not to mention, most of the world) are utterly fed up with them.

Uhh, I made the first ‘Mighty Joe Biden’ thread after he won the South Carolina primary, R36. And all he did was keep winning primary after primary, then the nomination and finally the general election. It already happened.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 14, 2022 5:44 PM |
He won the SC primary because of the black voters who stood in lines for hours to vote for him. They voted for Biden over Harris.

Because they backed the establishment leader, being all part of the establishment themselves. Biden wasn't leading prior to then. Splitting it 4 ways as it was before then had Bernie winning. Once the establishment candidates dropped then establishment voters had one candidate to pick.

I agree, Op. He’s passed quite a bit of good legislation. I think history is going to be kinder to him than the media we live with today.
The media harps on inflation like it’s unique to the United State and it’s not. About the only thing you can fault him for was the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan…he did do a shit job with that, but otherwise he’s done a lot in 2-years.

I am an unapologetic longtime fan of President Biden. Gratefully, he'll be remembered for ousting scum trump, protecting democracy, and successfully enacting wise legislation that actually helps Americans.
Whoever is president will be subject to criticism from one group of Americans or another, in part because we have unrealistic expectation about what makes a great president. Presidents are only human and no one is perfect. But trump wins the award for criminality and evil. Biden is a saint in comparison.

Grocery costs, rents and and mortgage rates have hit Americans the hardest as of late.
Food prices are up 13.5 percent from last year, the biggest annual increase seen since February 1979. Housing costs also continued their upward march, with rent up 6.7 percent in the past 12 months.
Gas prices, though they've crept back down from over $5 in June, are still up 26 percent over last year.
