Any gluten free, non-dairy?

by Anonymousreply 1August 7, 2022 7:32 PM

Are you Greg?

by Anonymousreply 2August 7, 2022 7:33 PM

I JUST put pizza in the convection oven

by Anonymousreply 3August 7, 2022 7:34 PM

Is it a rescue pizza?

by Anonymousreply 4August 7, 2022 7:36 PM

My favorite frozen pizza was ELLIOS but alas it was sold to McCain in 1988 so it's long since been ruined.

Fairway NYC in Harlem had the best Sicilian Spinach Artichoke Pizza alas that store closed in 2020 and it's not available at any of there other stores.

by Anonymousreply 5August 7, 2022 7:36 PM

JUST AS LONG AS THERE IS NO FUCKING PINEAPPLE!

by Anonymousreply 6August 7, 2022 7:36 PM

Are there children to fuck and eat?

by Anonymousreply 7August 7, 2022 7:37 PM

THEIR not there

Sorry for the mistake

by Anonymousreply 8August 7, 2022 7:37 PM

Too soon, R7. Especially after today.

by Anonymousreply 9August 7, 2022 7:38 PM

[quote] Any gluten free, non-dairy?

I think that would come under the category of "Meh".

by Anonymousreply 10August 7, 2022 7:38 PM

Gotcha kween^.

by Anonymousreply 11August 7, 2022 7:40 PM

[quote] Especially after today.

Why today of all days?

by Anonymousreply 12August 7, 2022 7:41 PM

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

by Anonymousreply 13August 7, 2022 7:42 PM

As close to Pizza Margherita as possible. Less is definitely more in pizza land.

by Anonymousreply 14August 7, 2022 7:50 PM

I don't see any arugula. Sorry, pass.

by Anonymousreply 15August 7, 2022 7:52 PM

What the FUCK is a "veggie" pizza? Just no.

by Anonymousreply 16August 7, 2022 7:53 PM

Pepperoni

by Anonymousreply 17August 7, 2022 7:55 PM

American pizzas aren’t anything like Italian ones so it’s not like you’re making it more authentic if you don’t put pineapple on it.

by Anonymousreply 18August 7, 2022 7:56 PM

Deep dish Chicago or NYC slice?

by Anonymousreply 19August 7, 2022 8:03 PM

r19 California Fusion... also known as I have all these leftovers about to expire.

by Anonymousreply 20August 7, 2022 8:07 PM

R5 Vicolo is pretty good for frozen pizza. Have you tried it?

Deep dish is disgusting. Always go for thin slice.

by Anonymousreply 22August 7, 2022 8:08 PM

Well, I love the veggies, especially black olive and mushrooms. Add, pepper, onion and I'm good.

by Anonymousreply 23August 7, 2022 8:08 PM

R16 it’s a pizza without meat

by Anonymousreply 24August 7, 2022 8:12 PM

R21- It looks good but unfortunately I live in the NYC area. It's not available here.

by Anonymousreply 25August 7, 2022 8:32 PM

So a standard plain pizza with sauce and cheese is a "veggie pizza"? Wouldn't that simply be "a pizza"?

by Anonymousreply 26August 7, 2022 9:23 PM

^^^^ No, that would be a cheese pizza.

by Anonymousreply 27August 7, 2022 9:27 PM

D26 obviously doesn’t order pizza

by Anonymousreply 28August 7, 2022 9:32 PM

I grew up eating Detroit style pizza. We didn’t even call it Detroit style. We just called it square pizza. I was lucky enough to live in a neighborhood with five really good different restaurants that offered it.

My favorite pizza is anchovy, which everyone else hates so most places don't offer it.

I don't eat meat, so a vegetarian pizza is fine with me (no green peppers, please) -- but I'm opposed on principle to use of the cutsie term "veggie".

by Anonymousreply 30August 7, 2022 9:58 PM

Anchovy = umami flavor. Yum. Good with eggplant and a drizzle of pumpkin seed oil, maybe semi-stagionato pecorino.

by Anonymousreply 31August 7, 2022 10:05 PM

I'm a contrarian queen. I love pineapple on pizza.

I grew up in Chicago, so the standard was deep dish. Very good and extremely fattening, so thin-crust is more sensible regularly. My favorite pizza ever might be those insane pizza pot pies you could get from Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. Heart attack on a plate.

r30 Well, it doesn't seem you mind being called 'lezzie".

by Anonymousreply 33August 7, 2022 10:19 PM

R33, I would mind being called "lezzie" because it's a cutsie term and I dislike them. The fact that I'm not a lesbian is beside whatever point you may be trying to make.

by Anonymousreply 34August 7, 2022 10:23 PM

I love anchovies, too. But, a little go a long way. Just the hint of fishy salt makes my mouth water, among other things.

by Anonymousreply 35August 7, 2022 10:23 PM

Margharita of course. And an automatic ban to anyone who would add pineapple.

by Anonymousreply 36August 7, 2022 10:29 PM

Sausage and green peppers is the best - I may order one of those tonight!

by Anonymousreply 37August 7, 2022 10:31 PM

[quote] Any gluten free

[quote] Chicago, so the standard was deep dish.

A few years ago when I visited I got a good gluten free Chicago style pizza somewhere in Wrigleyville but it was $$$. Before my last trip a few months ago I set google on fire searching for a better option. This was just as good and much cheaper.

I'm looking forward the this one again in River North

Having worked at Lou Malnattis you should be warned to take the Chicago pizza at ease. The pizza is made by Mexican migrant workers that have their hrs stolen and are overworked. They have no incentive to be the most sanitary of ppl.

by Anonymousreply 39August 7, 2022 11:08 PM

When I ate meat and dairy, I loved a supreme. I loved the vegetables and meat. Delicious!!

by Anonymousreply 40August 7, 2022 11:09 PM

From where R37?? Keep us posted.

by Anonymousreply 41August 7, 2022 11:10 PM

YIKES, R39.

I guess I won't be going back after all. How depressing.

by Anonymousreply 42August 7, 2022 11:10 PM

Don't order Domino's. They support Operation Rescue.

by Anonymousreply 43August 7, 2022 11:27 PM

If it's a cheap pizza I am better off going with Pepperoni. The mom and pop places by me who use fresh ingredients I prefer a Deluxe/Supreme.

by Anonymousreply 44August 7, 2022 11:29 PM

Thin crust; sausage, mushroom and onion.

by Anonymousreply 45August 7, 2022 11:41 PM

Thin crust white pie (only cheese, no tomato sauce). Onions and mushrooms. Joe’s Pizza in NYC makes the best.

by Anonymousreply 46August 7, 2022 11:43 PM

White with artichoke hearts and kalamata olives; extra cheese.

by Anonymousreply 47August 7, 2022 11:44 PM

[quote] "As close to Pizza Margherita as possible. Less is definitely more in pizza land."

I agree, R14. As long as the ingredients are excellent. But don't get me wrong. I love a vegetable, or supreme pizza. But simplest is best.

by Anonymousreply 48August 7, 2022 11:47 PM
