Before the weight loss and plastic surgeries. Courteney was stunningly beautiful. Lisa is pretty too. Jennifer is someone with a big face almost masculine face. She relied on voluminous hairstyles, her blue eyes, white teeth and a rocking body to make up for her average face. Putting herself in the middle accentuates her best features and provides a contrast to her naturally prettier costars.

Hmm...I would never have described Courtney as "stunningly beautiful," more like really pretty girl-next-door. Jennifer, OTOH, during the Friends era didn't have the masculine, strong features...she still had that youthful, round face. I considered her beautiful. Now that she's lost all the youthful fullness, she def looks mannish. And she needs to lay off the fillers/whatever she's doing with her face (botox?) before she reaches Courtney territory.

She was a little bit heavier when Friends started. She worked hard to lose weight and maintain a slim body, but her face became more angular and masculine as a result.

This was 2 years into the series...I would say from my perspective she looks beautiful. Yes, she did lose some weight as did Courtney a few years later. In fact there was talk of the 2 of them suffering from eating disorders.

Whether you like her or not, Jennifer has had the bigger career of any of the Friends cast, in both TV and film. Between her acting career and her production company, she certainly has greater net worth than her former co-stars. Apple paid her $40 million for the first two seasons of The Morning Show - as star and co-producer - and just renewed it for a third season.

She's like Jean Cocteau. A French photographer once said that he could take pictures of a country wedding and when he developed the photos Jean CocTeau would be standing between the bride and groom.

Lisa Kudrow aged very well. I hope she throws Mira Sorvino a bone with a part two of that movie they both did. Lisa had an obvious nose job early on in life and just did random bits of general maintenance and upkeep throughout the years, that's how it's done.

There was a live one off of "Facts of Life" some time back. I thought Jennifer Anniston looked horrible in it. She truly has a downright pretty head of hair but had to use it to hide her piss poor filler work and such. Meanwhile Lisa Welchel (sp maybe? I'm not sure) looked wonderful and turned me on.

If you want to hear a really great interview with Lisa check her out on Rupaul's What's The Tea podcast. It came out a few years ago, they talk about her approach to comedy and writing, really fascinating talk and I learned things I didn't know about her.

Aniston is the kind of actress who makes comedy look so effortless. I've never agreed with the people who say she has no talent. The talent she lacks is in picking projects that showcase her abilities. She played it safe and did a lot of bland rom coms during her Friends years and well afterwards as well. When she takes a risk like The Good Girl, Horrible Bosses, or Cake, she's wonderful.

It's still what she did to the character of Rachel that's worthy of praise, because this character could easily be seen as an annoying, spoiled twit, but she brought so much warmth and heart to the role and made her someone you could see yourself spending time with. That's not easy.

Then why did gals of "Desperate Housewives" have a big fight at a photo shoot over who would be in the middle?

That far left thing is if you're a nobody. Any picture of these woman, everyone knows them.

Yeah Rachel is a terrible person but Jennifer Aniston added warmth and charm to that character who likely would have been hated had any other actress played her. Friends was extremely well-cast and well-done though I'm not a huge fan and don't find it funny. It was comfort food TV.

She's in the middle due to their relative heights and coloring. You don't put the tallest in the middle and you don't stick the two contrasts (blonde/blond vs pale skin/eyes brunette) directly against each other in a trio (you can deliberately in a duo). A bronzine between them balances the group aesthetically. It also works because she obviously was the focal point of that crap show.

Jennifer was the biggest star of the 3. Courtney second. Lisa a more distant third.

Aniston was the breakout star, so it makes sense that she's in the middle. Then, she got married to Brad Pitt, so that makes her even more recognizable.

When it came to money, though, she could have asked for more than the other 5 cast members. In the end, the 6 actors were like a labor union and all got the same rate of pay. $1 million each per episode.

Yeah, there was really no extreme interest in Lisa "Princess Consuela Banana Hammock." She was cute and funny - still is. And she's really intelligent as well.

Lisa has arguably had the most interesting career of all of them. Lots of good roles in wacky movies and TV shows.

Courtney at least has the Scream series and I can't imagine anyone else in that role, which is a huge compliment to her skills as an actress. No one could replace her. That part was perfect for her.

If Lisa had nothing but The Comeback, she'd be #1 for me.

Aniston took a character who was selfish, immature, and scatter-brained… and turned her into someone who was likable, loyal, and had emotional depth. That’s not easy to do on a 30-minute comedy series. She deserved her Emmy.

Friends should’ve ended at the Monica/chandler wedding. Nothing interesting happened after that.

Kudrow aged the best and interestingly enough, she’s the oldest. Aniston had the best character of the women, she’s a better actress than Cox also. Her marrying Brad Pitt put her, celebrity wise, on the next stratosphere. She was famous before that, but not on his level.

I love Lisa, but still think Jen looks better. Courtney ruined herself.

In fact, she was the only attractive person in the entire main cast. Courteney was stylish, but average looking and relied heavily on strong colored makeup.

What’s stopping one of the other two from moving to the other side? Jen didn’t “put herself in the middle” without the other two’s cooperation.

Aniston has shown her talent a few times when she did "The Good Girl", "Cake", "Horrible Bosses" or "The Morning Show". She could have pushed herself more and taken bigger risks though.

Imagine her producing Big Little Lies for herself, or use some of her $$$ to produce "Gone Girl" or "Wild" like Witherspoon smartly did.

She would have been a revelation playing that sociopathic bitch in "I Care A Lot".

Kudrow has had the most varied and interesting career IMO

The issue is Aniston wanted to be a big celebrity and bankable Hollywood star. She never seemed to give a shit about acting itself, just being the center of attention and getting a big paycheck. She'll do roles like The Good Girl and Cake to just get an Oscar. She's extremely cynical and image-conscious. No different than J. Lo actually. But At least Aniston seems nice enough and easy to deal with.

There never seemed to be any major fighting among the Friends cast. Some of them are legitimately close, but all of them are friendly enough. And by sticking together, they all made a fortune.

It's one of those shows I'm shocked still endured for so long in popularity. The Office is the only other sitcom I can think that has that longevity. Despite being huge and on for forever, How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory already seem forgotten (yes they have sequels but was there a high demand for them?)

The three ladies have been extremely close - so close that they had lunch together every day for ten years during the making of "Friends"

Yeah it seems like the women are genuine friends (Aniston and Cox especially), and the guys are friendly. Nobody hates each other, from what the public can tell.

Lisa Kudrow, being the most talented and most intelligent of all of them, was also the most practical when it came to surgery. Whatever she had done was very subtle. She's aging well and wisely.
