R1, 'ginch' is an obscure slang term meaning either underwear (in Canada), an attractive woman (US), or female genitals (UK). For the past three years or so, an anonymous user and his socks has been trying to make it happen here on DL. Its use here never seems to fit anything, so it's anybody's guess WTF they're talking about.

In full, it's usually something like, "Ha-ha, Ginch-like creature", when Hough is mentioned.

Methinks Miss Hough is protesting too much in that video. A bigger case of homosexual panic you're not likely to see.

Its first use on DL was actually quoting a response from the defunct Yahoo Answers! which itself likely contained a typo. The response was to a Yahoo Answers! question regarding Derek Hough and was something like the aforementioned “Ha-ha, Ginch-like creature”. (Yahoo Answers! was not exactly known as an Algonquin Round Table gathering.)

R6, normally, I might agree with you -- but that gum chewing dolt doesn't look like a dancer. He doesn't look like he'd know how to do the move ...whatever it was.

I would love to see Derek and Maks do a paso doble; they could work out all their (or Max's) animosity over Derek winning all those mirror balls.
