Examples: He lauded Biden and the recent bill to protect same-sex marriage; he gave his thoughts on the recent gay film, "My Policeman;" and he's posted about how intelligent and engaging he thinks Pete Buttigieg is and what a great president he'd make. Things like that. Plus, in one of his cooking-food posts he reminds followers to give him a break, because he's "an untrained bachelor." .. So at 75, it sounds like he's still available guys!

And here's a photo Clifford put up where he performed at the big (gay) September 1977 Hollywood Bowl event known as the "Star-Spangled Night For Rights." Clifford's caption reads:

The occasion was a big gala fundraiser to overturn Prop 6 which was an anti-Gay measure on the ballot meant to out and fire gay teachers. It was rejected thank God. Johnna and I danced the LE CORSAIR PAS DE DEUX in front of 18,000 people. Richard Prior, who was also on the gala, was high on something, and in his set complained that we got more applause than a hip-hop group. He also went on to insult the crowd for supporting a gay cause. He ended by saying that he has sucked D but liked P better. He almost caused a riot and the security came to get him off the stage. Needless to say…he didn’t come back to bow at the end.

I'm guessing the gays in the audience liked John's bulge!
