What's going on? Aside from AH Stories, nothing really new. I've been watching From and Lovecraft Country, sadly canceled, that missed when it first came out. Noting recent is catching my fancy.
There is almost nothing new on tv

Fuck television! We need new threads!

Are you kidding? There is way too much to choose from at the moment. The streamers all need to slow down a bit.

I found The Bear to be fantastic

Only Murders In The Building and What We Do In The Shadows are the only shows I watch that are airing new episodes. If you can recommend a third "XX In the XX" show, I'm all ears.

Paper Girls was pretty good and i hope it gets a second season. And Suspicion had potential but it just got ridiculous by the last episode. Uma Thurman was almost unrecognisable and i thought two of the main guys were going to get together but nothing happened.

I second Paper Girls.
I also recommend Black Bird. The actor playing the serial killer is very good. And Taron Edgerton makes for good eye candy.
I'm watching other stuff to pass the time but not sure if it's worth recommending.

Even in a post network big 3 TV world it is still August nonetheless.

R21 that's the one with Courtney Cox??

Paper Girls was so, so good. I can't recall the last time I did such a nasty binge of a TV show where I got annoyed that I had to go to the bathroom because I had to pause the show. Also can't recall the last time I didn't FF a single second of a teenage adventure show.
Apparently, the comics are a lot more wacky and the show has a lot more drama due to budgetary considerations. But my god, that drama is so well-written. They're exactly the kind of internal conversations that I have with myself about why my life has turned out the way it has, but here made manifest thanks to them meeting their future selves.
Also, it's probably because I hung out mostly with girls at school, but I found this a lot more relatable than all the boy drama in Stranger Things.
