All roads lead to cock.

Ummmmmm...unlimited unprotected sex followed by a few 'positive' test results then wailing to anyone who'll listen about how you're in so much pain from ass lesions and colon welts. OP, you know exactly what gay resorts are intended for, remotely located or otherwise.

Is that really what it is like now? When I used to go in the 2000s it was very much IKEA/ Home Depot gays, with a bit of a "stuck in the 80s" vibe. I remember that the chef used bleu cheese in/on everything.

Actually, it looks very pretty and peaceful. It would be a nice holiday. Thanks for posting the link @R5.

What about the sexual atmosphere currently?

I lived not far from there for about six months. It's a beautiful area, but the place is like a bunch of shacks in the woods. I didn't actually "check in" there because I'm a lesbian, but I suppose if you're from NYC and like being out in the country, it'd be nice enough.

Any first hand experiences? Looks like mosquitos and old lace to me.

Probably some fun characters. As long as it's super clean. But it's campground-y.

It looks like Russian River cabins in Trumpland. But if it’s super clean I might give it a try.

Looks like a dump for the poors.

Mosquitoes galore, I’m sure.
And usually a place the uglies go to

OP at R7 has revealed his agenda. He's not worried about the interior design of the shacks, but rather are there enough guys there to fulfill his fantasy of being the resort's pass around bottom for a week.

Obviously. most of you have never been there. The vacation cabins were very nice in the 2000s. It seems the place has had a total renovation since then. The entire place seems much more upscale. I am sure the new cabins are quite nice. Interesting that they now have camp sites as well.
I am curious what the current clientele is like. They have many more lesbian events now, and no family events. There seems to be less of an emphasis on Bears and leather as well. I will say that they did have an established cross-dresser component back in the 2000s, not large, but it was there. The drag element seems to be compressed into the pre-opening period. In the 2000s, the disco was basically a big drag bar all summer long.

Friends had a weekend home near there back in the late 90s - early 2000s they called it tuna mountain since it was popular with the ladies.

Isn’t that every DLer’s agenda?

Wrong R18! DLers care deeply about interior design.

Ok I went for a day and night. A friend was staying there. About sixty five percent of the crowd was lesbians, trannies, bisexuals, drag queens and trannie chasers. The pool is nice but it's not clothing optional. A state route road goes right through the middle of the place. The sexual atmosphere is nil. And as mentioned on many travel review sites the staff were horrible or at least the front desk person and bartenders with which I interacted with were. Overall there are not that many cabins so their night capacity can't be that much. Never again.

When I lived in NYC, my ex and I would go for the weekend to get away. We liked that they had a pool and the restaurant wasn't all that bad. The nightclub was in a barn and the music was decent. I got hit on my times by the Jersey gays that would go there. It was a very laid back vibe and clean. You can cruise at night along their lake path, or use the apps. If you're looking for a more sex positive place then go to The Woods. It's clothing optional and lots of cruising.

You could have just stayed home and watched Freaks on TCM.

We went the summer of 2020. We were actually camping a the Woods for 10 nights and needed a break. It was quiet mid week but very pretty and well run. The pool was great with nice views. Worst part was the busy-dish road that ran through the grounds. Would love to go back and check out the club/trails when its busier.

What’s a “dish-road,” was it lined with fast food restaurants?
